I was thinking about the one component in a relationship that is the most important.

The word "momentum" came to my thoughts.

There is a natural flowing energy that creates this dynamic.

Momentum builds and crests like an ocean wave. Hopefully in a relationship, each building wave is followed by another.

There are certain things that interfere with momentum.

Each pause creates distance. Taking one another for granted, creates distance. Too many stops and restarts create a distance which eventually will destroy it completely.

Think about the rhythm of a relationship, and feed it daily with laughter, compassion, lust, and love.
