Hip-hop (as with all music) moves in stages. Currently we see/hear a very one -sided display of what Hip-hop has to offer, whether you like the music or not. I feel we are on the cusp of another lyrical age, but did the '80's, and '90's not have their share of "popular" artists deemed wack by many? Fact is there will be good acts and bad, yet the mission remains to promote peace, freedom, and self-expression.
