Recently the Pharaoh of Posterior Perfection updated his Instagram to remind plebeians and faithful fans that he is on his way to New York for the MET BALL!! He looks great, we all know this: his glasses are fashionable and on point, he’s photoshopped and edited this picture for the gods, and he looks like he’s stepped out of a Marc Jacobs add.
Now…what is the Met Ball, you ask?

“The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. The Gala is widely regarded as one of the most exclusive social events in New York and one of the biggest fundraising nights in the city with nine million dollars raised in 2013 and a record of $12 million the following year. In 2014, the individual tickets cost $25,000 for those outside the official guest list, after prices were raised $10,000 from the prior year to increase the exclusivity of the event. The event is organized by Anna Wintour. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Anna Wintour is the editor-in-chief of Vogue and she has been the chair of this event since 1995 (so longer than most of your false idols have been alive).
Now, it is obvious that every deity must have his retinue. Accompanying our Lord to this esteemed event are the creme de la creme of the entertainment and fashion world, people with more power, money and influence than most small European nations. Here is a sampling of the Chinese delegation:

Fan BingBing: Actress, singer, philanthropist and fashion icon. Has ranked in the Forbes China Celebrity 100 for the past decade.
Tang Wei: Actress, star on the internationally renowned Lust,Caution.
Chen Kun: Accomplished actor and singer, known for being the most popular celebrity on Weibo with 70 million followers.
Rain: Kpop singer, actor, military cosplayer, Kim Tae Hee’s fiance
As well as international stars.You might have heard of a young woman named Rihanna for instance. How about Kerry Washington? Legendary director Baz Luhrmann, who directed this small movie called Moulin Rouge? This may also finally be the moment where Yisus will meet Yeezus.
Let’s hope they don’t collaborate on “Ayy Girl 2”.
