Sorry for the long hiatus, I’ve been really busy with school lately and I’ve actually been working on a oneshot comic as well! I don’t really have enough time for that stuff and personal drawings, sorry about that. I’ll hopefully be back to a regular posting schedule once the comic is done :3

Hi, thank you so much for telling me! Honestly when I was looking at references I was only really paying attention to her outfit, so I probably wouldn’t have noticed it on my own and I’d never want to promote anything like colourism in my work, even if it’s unintentional. Next time I draw a character with a darker skin tone I’ll be sure to pay closer attention to the values

I edited to drawing to match her official skin tone (it’s still pretty messy though since it’s still a WIP and I only edited the colours, I still plan on cleaning things up later)

I also will either edit the original post to have the fixed version instead or I’ll just delete it and repost the fixed one

I accidentally made the skin tone way too light in the original, so I changed the attached photo to the fixed version, tysm to the person who pointed this out to me!

Just wanted to say sorry for taking such a long hiatus before, I plan to start posting about once a week (sometimes I’ll post extra, other times I might take a break)

Before when I took the long hiatus I wasn’t doing finished art much before so I didn’t really have much of a back log of art but now I’ve planned things out better and have started drawing more :3
