question for readers of The Haunting of Hell's Kitchen!

The next chapter is set up as daily entries spanning 2 weeks, and I'm guessing it'll end up somewhere around 45k words when it's done.

Would you rather wait extra long for the whole thing to be finished, or would you rather I split it up into two different chapters each covering one week? I'm leaning towards the second option personally tbh, but I wanted to hear from y'all :)

Then for chapter 13 (days 8-14) so far we've got 7931 words. The evil part is that I keep wanting to work on days 8-14 like. NO. I need to finish 0-7 first. THEN I can do 8-14. Grr

I am, no fucking joke, maybe a fourth of the way through writing chapter 12. Possibly less. But I'll try and keep it to around 40k unless I once again get possessed by the spirit of one of the overly verbose 1800s Russian authors I love like I did last chapter. No promises. I will promise this one won't take another 9 months though. I'm on a roll.

This chapter is such a beast because it contains literally 14 days of the fic instead of just the day by day structure I've been doing so far. After making one day in ch 11 rack up 24k, do you have any idea how hard it is to try and condense 14 days to only 40ish thousand???

Im at ~18,000 with only 2 days finished, 7 partially written, and 5 not even started 😭😭
