You don’t understand like my favorite skk scene is in 15 when Chuya says ‘I’m Arahabaki’. Because that is the first time in his life that Dazai is surprised. He never figured that out on his own. Dazai, who was bored of this predictable world that he can easily figure out and manipulate, was taken aback for the first time in him life. And I think that’s part of the ‘I’m starting to think life may be worth a shot’ comes from - he was shown that this world still holds things that he can’t predict. And idk….
