heyo, it's been awhile, friends.

i've been reblogging sporadically and had all intentions of shutting this account down, but i saw a few asks in my inbox talking about how helpful having safe and calm space has been, and i'd like to focus more time and energy into maintaining a cozy part of the internet.

life has been pretty stressful as of late, and i'm busy with school and work, but i like having somewhere to be at peace. this is always, always going to be a calm and safe space for anyone who wants and/or needs it <3

Blog Update (Nov. 11, 2024)

I'm back with the milk!

Although my interest in the series has waned and life has gotten in the way, I have not forgotten this place! While it may be inactive, it does have some space in my brain. I really appreciate the community built by you wonderful people. Heck, we hit 13k followers?! I am in disbelief about that.

I've changed so much since I initially watched the series (seriously, my takes on the series have vastly changed since I was like... 15?). I've changed so much since I decided to make this blog on a whim. I've changed so much since my last blog update which was over a year ago. As much as time passes and people change, I know that this blog and this series will always have a place in my heart and memories thanks to the people I've met along the way, some of which I still keep in contact with!

While I may be out to buy chocolate milk (forgot that on the list), I will make sure to queue things occasionally. Just wait until I actually catch up with this series, you'll see more awk pics then!

Old cat boy hides genie book and young big cat boy may or may not be the key to finding it. All the dog men try finding it but half are using Duolingo to communicate and the other half keep flirting. All of them bully minors. Mostly orphans. Everyone's an orphan actually. Orphan on orphan crime.

I had to think for a solid minute to think of anyone who isn't an orphan in this anime, but I think I only got people who weren't confirmed to be orphans like Kenji and Tanizaki. Now I just imagine Fukuzawa and Mori throwing different orphans at each other. I don't think we have any confirmation for a lot of the Guild members. Poe must have parents. He's rich.

this reminds me that at first my only knowledge of bsd was through a friend that Loved It at the time

they talked about dazai a lot without really spoiling the plot somehow & until i actually started the anime i thought he was an antagonist

I also knew about sigma through them

before i started the actual anime my only knowledge was Dazai and Sigma

i think i also got a bit of exposure through those gacha life react videos?? it was some character in a fandom i loved at the time As Nikolai. also somehow didn't spoil the plot much other than the tact that Nikolai died & undies

if i remember correctly, i thought that the doa were anitheros / kinda good guys. i thought Dazai was an antagonist and the antagonists were good guys.
