Crunchy kale and turkey dumplings Take your Thanksgiving ingredients and try something new:

- 1 pound ground turkey - 2 stalks of kale, de-stemmed and chopped - 2 stalks of celery, finely diced - 1 bunch of scallions, chopped - 1/2 vidalia onion, finely diced - 1 teaspon freshly minced ginger - 3 tablespoons of soy sauce - 2 tablespoons of sesame oil - Cracked pepper - 1 egg

Mix all the ingredients and get wrapping. Steam or pan fry dumplings for a crunchy and healthy dumpling. Enjoy!

Super Bowl pork buns for a Chinese New Year weekend. Stew the pork in BBQ sauce, add chopped half sour pickles, fold em up, and steam em! An American filling in a Chinese wrapper!

Spätzle, pork, and Brussels. Spätzle is an Eastern European cross between a noodle and dumpling. Not quite a dumpling, but I would call that a super noodle.

Bite size pecan pie, or pecan pietitos! Use mini muffin tins and cut out the pie crust with a round ravioli cutter. Fit into the tin, fill, and bake for just 10-15 minutes!

Burnt butter 'dump' cookies: Substitute the butter in a chocolate cookie recipe with butter you brown in a pot and let cool. Mix your batter as you normally would. Then, Just dump balls of batter into a tray and bake at 375 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.

Los Angeles is for soup dumplings. Though, according to my grandpa, they still don't stack up to the ones in Tainan, Taiwan. Still pretty good though!
