Trying oil pastels for the first time! Need more time to get a hang of it. These aren't really the easiest to work with for portraits. Atleast from my experience. Maybe I'll continue using em for landscapes and stuff :-)

I just feel like nobody is talking enough about the Turkey-Syria earthquake catastrophe or is empathetic enough about it. Celebrities or the rich, would’ve flooded their social media and donated if it were the west, such as they did for the Ukrainians, and around $1 billion was raised within 2 days only for the Notre-Dame cathedral, an empty building with no casualties. But why turn a blind eye to the sufferings of thousands of these innocent souls in Turkey and Syria? If they survived the earthquake, they’ll now suffer from the cold and hunger with nowhere to go.
