I sent this nugget into school today, for her first day of year 6. She was both excited and a bit overwhelmed by the idea of having to wear a mask all day, the unknowns that come with going to school during a pandemic, the responsibility of having her own laptop for the first time, not sure how to socially distance and still hang with her friends... It’s a lot. Our kids are taking on a lot right now. But we count our blessings that she can return to school again and that we can start piecing together a life rhythm more similar to what we are used to.
