Katerina honestly couldn’t be bothered with the teasing and explanation. Whether he was a hunter or not, he was still a vampire, if he were to return to his group of hunters, it’s likely they would turn him away for what he was, so whatever it was that he was holding onto was far unrealistic to Kat. “I’ve been around for a long time, I highly doubt there’s much you could do that would successfully scare me,” she said, aware of the possibility that Duncan was letting her out to carry out his plan with her. In the meantime, she lowered her eyes and ran her fingers through her hair.

     Hours went by as Duncan carried out his plan, inflicting immense amounts of pain on Katerina, along with draining her body of any blood she'd recently fed on with the assistance of a fellow hunter that also worked part time at the hospital. "Scared yet?" the words echoed throughout the remain, manic laughter following after. "Or are you ready for another round, beautiful?" Duncan taunted the other, fingers brushing along her scarred face.

“Not all of them are bad, Duncan,” Rae shook her head, wincing at his grip. Opening her mouth to retort, only a hiss escaped as she was pinned against the wall. “I think it’s about time someone put you out of you misery,” She brought her knee up to his groin.

"Not true, all of them deserve to suffer and MORE," Duncan snapped at her, slamming his fist against the wall inches from Rae's head. "You little bitch," he hissed out, groaning at the sudden pain that struck. "That, that you'll pay for," he warned, twisting her arm until he heard bones crack and dragging her by the hair through a door that appeared seconds later.

Lulu rolled her eyes, her fingers twitching in annoyance as she fought to not hex the man in front of her. He was just trying to get a rise out of her. “I’m completely fine with that. You weren’t a good lay anyway. How about I pick neither and you leave me alone?”

Stepping forward, Duncan extended a hand to cup the blondes' face in amusement. "It's okay, I know that's only the resentment in you speaking, I think you and I both know that I was one of the best you've ever had. But where's the fun in that? I like having a pretty face lingering around in my office."

If not for you to look at, I’m sure your wife enjoys the view I give her.” Elijah teased, winking playfully at his brother as he set Heath on the floor by his toys when he began to squirm in his arms. “My bad influence has rubbed off on him. You’re welcome. Hopefully, he’ll grow up to be nice and not a mean, murderous man like his father.” He raised an eyebrow. Elijah’s disapproval  on being in the hunter family business was quite clear, and he had no problems expressing it to his older brother. “Drinks? I’m a guy. Why am I not invited?”

"Guess you're right about the last bit, can't say Heath would be too happy with me if I stopped letting you come around. You're not that great. I'm sure my wife is more than pleased by having me to look at, thank you very much." Duncan rolled his eyes at Elijah, shooting him a playful glare. "Maybe I should rethink keeping you around again, I'm sure I can find another tall guy for him to get attached to." Between work at the law firm, and hunting and having a family, finding time to relax was slim. "Are you sure about that? And because, someone has to babysit, and last time I checked you didn't give a damn about the guys I drink with."

After driving for some time, the two finally arrived at a deserted cabin off the highway. "Hope you don't mind, but I'd rather not have the misfortune of running into my brother," he informed her, glancing over.

It took everything in Meilani not to say something smart, and likely offensive, to come back at Duncan with. Reluctantly just giving in with a roll of the eyes. 

A smirk lingered on his lips, green orbs watching Meilani's every move in amusement. "It wouldn't kill you to enjoy yourself," he teased against her lips, words falling silent as he deepened the kiss.

“Y’know, I don’t really ever put milk in mine. I just put a little creamer and way too much sugar, but if you use milk often maybe it was a different percent than what you usually drink?” She offered. “Fair enough. I use more than I should.”

"Creamer is good from time to time, depending on the flavor but sugar on top of it? That's too much sweet. I like the bitterness, it wakes me up."

If someone hadn't helped you escape, no one would've died? Aside from perhaps you, but really given all that you've done this past week, I'd say I would've been doing the world a favor."

"And here I thought the younger you would be ecstatic over this, I can assure you it'll be a lot better than you ever imagined in your dreams," Duncan winked knowingly, like all mistletoe on the island, the one dangling above them was likely charmed to keep the two in place until they kissed. "I mean that could be interesting to watch too, but if you're that interested in ripping your own throat out, I could do it for you." He smirked.

"Haha, that's a good one, I'll give you that," Duncan managed a small laugh. "I mean, I'm not going to judge you, we're all adults capable of making our own decisions, I'm just a coffee fanatic. There's nothing wrong with it just because it was unhealthy, don't think too much over it," he shrugged. "Sounds like the kind of people that need to get their own life."

Say yes.” Elijah talked in a baby voice, gently making the boys head move up and down. “See, even he wants you to go.” He teased. “Oh then what do you do? Hit it and quit it? Smash and dash? Nail it and bail it? I can keep going on and on with these if you want.”

"I'm sure I can find plenty of them, more attractive ones too. You underestimate me." Duncan joked with a chuckle, glad the boy wasn't old enough to understand the things he was saying just yet. "Ouch, and here I thought you'd be more appreciative of the man that raised you, Heath." He shook his head in disbelief, glancing up at Elijah. "Or you can stop, I actually have work to do tonight, followed by drinks with the guys."
