Hi! I felt like at this point Iâve been on Tumblr long enough that I should pretend I know how to use it and make one of those cutie pinned âAbout Meâ posts so here we are!
Iâm dungeonsanddicey (formerly nat20oninspiration)! You can find me here or on Ao3! I do lurk on other platforms but I donât have any other writing or fandom pages right now.
My pronouns are she/her and Iâm a wlw (lesbian specifically)!
I write for a grand mix of fandoms and ships and love to put my favorite characters in situationsâ˘ď¸
In a little bit Iâll attempt to link below to some of my writing/fandoms but this is where my inexperience with tumblr will really show.
Thank you for checking out my page! And happy reading <3
The first chapter of the Cyberpunk 2077 au is officially out! This took weeks to plan and write so Iâm hoping you all enjoy it!

Chapter 1: Night City

Chapter 1/?
Fic Description:
When a heist goes wrong, Ryland Grace ends up with a biochip containing the infamous mercenary, The Butcher, in his head. Now, it's a race against time to figure out why Simon is on the chip in the first place and how they can get him out of Grace's head before the biochip overwrites him completely.
Grace swallows for the first time since hitting the ground. Blood hits the back of his throat, a reminder of his wounded tongue and the only thing keeping him grounded in reality at this moment âThis is not scientifically or medically possible.â
He scoffs, âA lot of things that arenât possible happen every day in Night City. Iâd think youâd know that by now, Six.â
Six?
âYes, Six, I know who you are,â the figment bends to his eye level, âAnd youâre going to help me before we both end up dead.â
Grace is clutching at his splitting head, trying to see the ghost of the man standing over him through the spots, âIâm not Sierra Six."
OR: BloodyMary but it's Cyberpunk 2077 (and they're kind of SilverV)
Featuring: BloodyMary, Coltland Gentry siblings, and the greatest construct ever; Rocky!
Finally almost done with Chapter 1 of my BloodyMary Cyberpunk au and letâs just say
We playing fast and loose with the rules of this worldâŚ
Iâm trying really hard to make it conform to the lore but Night City has SO much lore and Iâm kinda done trying to make it work so if I have to retcon something later so be it!
I just started Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time and when I tell you I have never started an au so fast in my life (you cannot look me in the eyes and tell me Johnny doesnât look like Simon at least a little)
I gotta get through more of the game first but uh
Expect a bloodymary cyberpunk au soon
(Bonus: I even took a screenshot for the cover that looks vaguely like them)
Also, my lovely friends, it has been quite a year for me and I literally havenât written anything since Fail Safe chapter 8 but I swear I SWEAR I want to finish it! I have all my notes still, I remember my plan, I just need to reactivate the writer brain properly (like Iâm trying to do with writing a little something for bloodymary) and hopefully fail safe will come with it <3
Slipped and fell on my keyboard and this chapter of a fic popped out HELLO
tell me your secrets and ask me your questions

Chapters 1/?
Fic Description:
Two lonely people, doomed to die in deep space, manage to find their way to each other.
It wasnât the first time heâd thought about trying to contact home. Rocky was a great friend and, as far as he could remember, probably the best heâd ever had. Yet heâd be lying if he said he never felt lonely, never felt disconnected.
Grace could send a message home now and maybe heâd finally hear another human voice in a few decades. It wasnât pointless, but it wouldnât help.
Lost in thought, he almost missed the way the transmitter momentarily received a signal. A faint blip of light. Maybe he imagined it but just in caseâŚ
Itâs been a really long time since I wrote something for skk but one of my favorite unfinished concepts was a doomed romance in the backrooms
Soooo in honor of that film about to come out, hereâs the opening to that unfinished fic. I hope I finish it someday, I really did love the plans I had, but I did also write this portion in January of 2023 so donât hold out hope.
Anyways, enjoy!
âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ.
Dazai couldnât stand fluorescent lights anymore. They were too bright. Too fake. Too reminiscent of those yellow halls. He leaned his face into his hands, resting his elbows on the table, so he wouldnât have to see their light anymore. He couldnât escape the hum but it was better than nothing. There were only two good things that came with him out of those halls. The first is heightened senses. He could hear footsteps in the hall and could smell the lingering cigarette smoke of the last guy sitting in his chair. If he would open his eyes, though, heâd still be half-blind. The second good thing was only memories.
He could hear someone walking towards the door before their hand was even on the handle. Then, he listened to it turn, listened to the lock click out of place, and then listened as the investigator entered. The man quietly closed the door and locked it again before coming to sit across from him and placing two files on the table.
âSo, youâre Dazai?â
He didnât respond. He was tired of responding. He just wanted answers and wanted to go so he could either find him or jump off the nearest bridge.
âMy name is Jouno. I work for the Japanese government, specifically, the special cases division.â
He still didnât respond.
âDazai, youâre going to need to respond sooner or later. The longer we sit here with you silent and me talking, the longer youâll be detained.â
Jouno was met with silence.
The agent sighed and opened the file, âThe record of your return says you came back, returned immediately to your desk, and began frantically asking your partner for help finding the file on a missing person, a man by the name of-â
âDonât say his name.â
Jouno stopped, âSo you do speak.â
Dazai was quiet again.
So Jouno continued, âUpon learning the fate of your missing person, you proceeded to enter an even more frantic state, saying, quote, âThereâs no way I made it back and he didnât.â Can you elaborate on that?â
âNo. I wonât elaborate on anything. I want an explanation and I want to leave.â
âI donât think you understand the gravity of the situation you are in at your present moment, Dazai.â
His hands dropped away from his face and slammed against the table, âI understand damn well the âgravity of the situationâ! I simply donât care anymore.â
Jouno was quiet. Dazai was looking at him now and the agent was realizing the pictures did nothing to represent the scar etched across the face of the man before him. A deep gash ran from his forehead, through his right eye, and just below his right ear. Heâd seen Dazai when he was being processed and there had been bandages wrapped over the damage but now it was on full display.
âI want to leave.â
âSo you can kill yourself and we can lose the only person to go to the last dimension and survive?â
âPrecisely.â
Jouno sighed. Dazai was not going to talk easily so it was time to present him with the compromise the government was willing to offer him.
âIâm not here just to ask you the same questions,â he starts, âIâm here because the higher-ups want to offer you a deal.â
Dazai stayed silent, staring at him.
âIf you answer every question completely and allow us to run our tests, we are prepared to offer you two things in return.â
âWhich are?â
âGovernment assisted suicide.â
Dazai was silently shocked. They were willing to let him go for a few answers? They must truly be desperate for any crumbs of information they can get on this place.
âYou answer everything truthfully and submit to testing, we will provide you with a peaceful and painless walk into the afterlife.â
There was silence for a moment. Euthanization in exchange for his cooperation.
âWhatâs the second thing?â Dazai asked, crossing his arms.
Jouno moved the top file to show him the label on the bottom file, âThe full government file and findings on the disappearance and death of Nakahara Chuuya.â
This was the first time Jouno had seen him react to something with an emotion besides anger. This time he watched as Dazai visibly softened looking at the file like his mind had melted at the idea of answers.
âDo we have your cooperation?â
The other man stiffened again.
âYes.â
âGood,â Jouno said, looking up at a camera in the corner of the room and nodding, giving them confirmation.
The cameras were just for security but, once subject consent was received, they were also used for audio recording.
âStart at the beginning for us. How do you remember entering dimension zero?â
So itâs been about a week and the BG3 Avengers au hasnât left my headâŚ
So I did a little character workshopâŚ
Oneshot & Info below the cut
(Trigger warnings at the bottom after the short pre-read explanation)
The fic idea mainly focuses on Gale & Astarion, but with the specific characters theyâd be playing in this Avengers au, I know writing Gale is going to be a bit of a challenge. I usually lean into the suave, soft, but clever Gale, so writing the more egotistical Gale is pretty rare for me.
All that said, I want to share this little character oneshot with the crowd to test the interest of the internet in the au and also to open the floor to feedback on if this feels out of character.
This particular scene likely wouldnât be a full chapter in the fic, rather a short flashback, or it might not even make the cut at all, but I wanted to write a scene to figure out where Gale would be starting from.
TRIGGER WARNINGS: this scene is between Gale and Mystra and contains the expected level of tension & divorce style fighting, but this scene also contains a small amount of abuse both physical and emotional.
Okay NOW on with the showâŚ
{â â・°đ¤Â°ď˝Ąâ â}
âSon of a bitch!â Gale snatches his hand away with a curse as a zap of electricity runs up his arm.
The gauntlet heâs messing with drops against the metal table with a clang and he watches the miniscule progress heâs made flicker and die. He groans, shaking the tingling from his fingers and stepping back. The clock on the wall glows at him, taunting. Ten and a half hours heâs been down here, trapped at his own work station. Somewhere upstairs Mystra is probably pissed off. She always is when Gale disappears down here. He canât stop now, though, not when heâs so close.
âSir,â Gale jumps at the voice, sleep deprivation obviously taking a toll on his mind, âI must advise you to get some sleep. Youâve been awake for over thirty-six hours, seventy-five percent of that has been spent in this room, and it is becoming a health concern.â
Running a soot covered hand through his already disgusting hair, Gale shakes his head, âI have to finish this.â
âThen, I must also advise you that your wife is becoming impatient. She wishes for me to inform you that she will not go to bed until you leave this room.â
Heâs looking at the machinery in near defeat, body too exhausted to even imagine picking up his tools once more. The thought of going to bed seems somehow worse. Having to deal with Mystraâs brewing rage, wash the grime from his skin, and find something to eat, all before confronting the high possibility of a sleepless night, just doesnât seem worth it.
Itâs almost complete, âTell her Iâll see her tomorrow.â
Azuth falls silent for a moment as Gale picks his soldering iron up once more, determined to make this work.
âSheâs coming down.â
He sighs, âLock the door-â
Too late does the command slip past his lips. He can already hear her stilettos on the stairs.
âGale Dekarios, you had better be dead or dying.â
He slides his glasses onto his head with one hand, setting his iron down with the other, âLovely to see you too, my dear.â
Mystra stops at the bottom of the stairs, âWhat the hell are you still working on that thing for?â
âPassion project.â
âScrap pieces from a junk pile is more accurate.â
Gale scoffs, âThis again?â
She stomps down the last few stairs as she raises her voice, âYes, this again! Our company is crumbling and you are playing with trash in our basement!â
âYour company,â Gale corrects, pointing a finger at her chest, âWeave has never been mine, youâve been very clear on that front.â
âAre you seriously on this again?â
He crosses his arms, âThe company is only âoursâ when itâs convenient for you, and right now, it seems you canât run it without my work.â
Mystra grits her teeth, looking down at the table behind him, âWell, Gale, unfortunately a tech giant canât stay afloat without tech to sell.â
âAll weâve sold as of late has been defense weaponry.â
âOur most lucrative products-â
âThat I never wanted to make!â Now Gale is yelling, arms thrown out to his sides, gesturing at the unfinished projects strewn about the workshop.
âYou wanted to make a difference! Well, Gale, look at the world around you and tell me you havenât!â
In the ringing silence all they can do is stare each other down until Gale finally looks away, âDid you come down here for something in particular or just to complain about my hobbies?â
âI came to tell you itâs time to come to bed,â her tone is final, more like a stern parent than a concerned spouse.
He sighs, âIâll be up when I figure out this last piece.â
âNo. Youâll come with me now.â
âMystra-â
âI will not go to bed alone for another night,â sheâs practically tapping her foot, âI am your wife, you will not abandon me for your work again.â
He wants to argue. He still canât look at her. His hesitation must last too long because Mystra turns, silent, and storms back toward the stairs. The electricity once stinging his nerves feels like nothing in comparison to the tension crackling in the air around him.
Deep breath in, and out, again, and again.
Slowly, his anxious heartbeat calms. The trembling in his hands stills as he reaches once more for his soldering iron. Sheâll settle down in the morning, and he wonât have to come down here again for some time.
The hammer that suddenly swings down onto the fragile pieces of motherboard and wiring says otherwise. Gale jumps back, nearly burning himself, as Mystra smashes the table again.
âWhat the fuck,â heâs shouting, shoving her back, âare you doing!â
Mystra drops the tool, fire blazing in her eyes, âRemoving your distractions.â
Gale is standing between her and his damaged station, âAre you out of your mind?â
âI am thinking perfectly cl-â
âThis is months of work! What the hell is wrong with you?â
She barely lets him get the words out before the slap hits him, ââWhat the hell is wrongâ with me? Thatâs rich coming from the man so pathetic heâs hiding in his workshop from a few bad dreams!â
Gale goes quiet. The feeling of a hand against his skin burns, but not as hot as the metal of his wedding band. Everything suddenly falls into perfect clarity, âGet out of my house.â
Mystraâs mouth hangs open, like the words are stuffing up her throat and she canât force them out for a moment, until she says, âWhat the hell does that mean?â
âIt means weâre done,â heâs meeting her fire with nothing but icy coldness, âIâll ship your things.â
âThis is my house too!â
âMy name is on the lease. My money paid the construction crew,â he slides the ring from his finger and tosses it at her feet, âYou can sell that if you want. Clearly it doesnât mean much.â
She doesnât look down at the band, just takes a step back to the stairs, âYouâll regret this. You need me-â
âFor what?â
âWeave-â
âWhy would I need Weave?â His air of indifference barely holds against the way his heart beats overtime, racing with the fear sheâll do something even more irrational, âMy money is mine, the company canât run without my products, and clearly it barely belongs to me anyways.â
She stares him down for a final moment, waiting for his facade to crumble, before storming up the stairs the same way she came down them not ten minutes prior.
âWait, Mystra,â She barely looks back at him, âI almost forgot,â he follows her up the stairs sheâs climbed with an open hand, âI need my motherâs ring back. Itâs in the pre-nup.â
AO3 is currently down. We do not have an estimated return time currently. We're looking into it with one of our third-party support providers and will update when we have more information. Thank you for your patience!
We've identified the problem and are working on a fix. We expect to remain down for several more hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!
AO3 will be down for about 15 hours starting at 08:00 UTC on January 21 (what time is that for me?) while we make some improvements to searching bookmarks and series, including:
adding the ability to search, filter, and sort bookmarks by word count
making sure bookmark search results are correct when you use tags containing letters and numbers
preventing series blurbs from listing tags that were only used on draft works
preventing series blurbs from listing tags used on restricted works for guests
updating series bookmark search so it only searches the tags on works you can access
