Hey, so I actually grew my hair out enough to donate twelve inches of length to Children With Hair Loss!

If you want to make a hair or money donation, please do so- They do not charge for wigs and they supply wigs for mainly children (but also adults) with medical reasons for hair loss such as cancer treatments, alopecia, burns, etc.

In other news, I'm getting ready for my pre-op appointment where I get to ask questions and back out if I want to from the procedure, but we're going all in 100% bitches.

People probably wonder why Dabi is such a comforting character for abuse victims- It's because society keeps trying to tell us how to feel, how to react, what's an 'appropriate' response to being violently traumatized.

It's always up to us to 'forgive' our abusers, as if "I'm sorry" can make up for years of physical and psychological harm. Abusers are always given the benefit of the doubt because people are like "oh, they're TRYING to be better". No thought is spared for the victim who is forced to navigate life fundamentally changed by the experiences they've survived since CHILDHOOD.

Do we honestly have to straight up die at the hands of our abusers in order to get spared a solitary crumb of empathy?

Why do people not communicate like adults, holy fuck. This isn't about anyone here, it was this bitch at work who's supposed to be training me and she thought I was trying to disrespect her, so she basically sabotaged my entire shift to "show me a lesson".

And then lied to the chef when he was like "what the fuck, why was Soda doing everything himself without help" by saying "oh, I tried to help but he doesn't listen to me and does the exact opposite of what I tell him to do". Like, please fucking grow a pair and say shit to my goddamn face.
