So...first we get some light episodes just seeing our favorite characters during this Steven starts acting weird he is diagnosed with PTSD from every thing he’s gone through and goes to train with jasper he snaps and shatters jasper but he can’t fix it Stevens crying he has taken a life he loses control of his powers force fields trap and hurt the residents of beach city Connie runs to him but he can’t stop force discs slam into her and Steven watches the whole thing they aren’t his to control anymore Steven snaps and fully corrupts not into a giant monster thing but a pink humanoid covered in spikes His gem shifts into a diamond he is not Steven but universe diamond the show’s villain 

-TIME SKIP-

opening on a ruined city we are introduced to our new MC puck and their mysterious teacher Zora, who is obviously Connie but for plot reasons no one can tell. The city is patrolled by corrupted gems and their handlers: the sneo people -humans corrupted by Stevens DNA when puck’s hideout is discovered zora and puck, along with peridot, lapis, Lars, and pumpkin travel across the country side sparking the revolution and traveling to universe diamonds fortress before he can enact his master plan turning the entire world into roses room so he can get Connie back. Right before the finale Lars is fatally wounded they have to continue on with out him puck and the rebellion arrive at universes fortress  big speech ending with how they aren’t temps anymore they are the crystal gems! Puck is separated from the group forced to fight the sneo people’s captain, Sadie killer.    An an epic sword fight puck tells Sadie that Lars misses her and gives an emotional speech. This is Steven universe and in SU love always wins..Sadie is un-corrupted she runs to save Lars.  But this story isn’t over because even though we saw it through pucks eyes this isn’t their story. A fast cut to the fortresses throne room Connie with pearls old sword in hand is single handily fighting Steven who steadily is having more and more flash backs first happy ones but they move closer to the present and more of them are hurting those he loves then Connie yells WHY!   WHY STEVEN 

And he doesn’t respond because universe diamond doesn’t know why..and neither does Steven but he can do one thing Steven Chokes out ““I’m sorry” And transforms they have a talk at the end Steven asks if they can still be friends Connie says maybe one day but she needs some space Steven understands  as the credits start to roll we are given scenes of all the characters watching the sun rise and soft music plays
