i know the comic isn't officially out, but i want to share my thoughts on the public pages i have out on ComicFury!

Saprustle: a bright orange, striped warrior from Mossclan.

he is an ignorant and foolish cat, refusing to learn from his mistakes or accept criticism, and doesn't understand nuance and gray area situations. he is generally disliked in Mossclan because of his ignorance and tendency to be prone to outbursts and temper tantrums. he has been this way since was an apprentice, and some in the clan wonder how he even became a warrior.

Saprustle was a moon younger than some of the other apprentices, so he started his apprenticeship later than them. he was determined to be better than them because he started later, and and kept trying to prove himself but failed constantly due to his eagerness to be better than them.

Saprustle always blames everything around him for his failures and mistakes. he refuses to accept that he could be capable of messing up because of the expectations he set for himself. even his mentor Dewbush couldn't teach him to learn from anything.

Robinshriek: Robinshriek is the current deputy of Mossclan. with a unique sounding speech pattern, Robinshriek is a level-headed, firm, and compassionate cat.

when Robinshriek was Duskpaw's mentor, he fostered a close bond with him. Robinshriek taught Duskpaw essential warrior skills, including swimming, fishing, and tree climbing. he was amazed by Duskpaw's ability to learn quickly and proved to be an incredibly strong apprentice. although Robinshriek was disappointed and ashamed at Duskpaw's murder of the rogue cats that killed his loved ones, Robinshriek was internally devastated at losing his apprentice and never took another one.

Mossstar: the stern leader of Mossclan, Mossstar is the oldest leader of the three clans, being too stubborn to retire.

Mossstar is a stickler for the Warrior code, upholding order and peace within Mossclan. he is set in his ways due to his age, and often makes complex decisions to abide by the code. Mossstar does not tolerate any code-breaking behaviors in his clan. he has a tendency to go on long speeches about the clan's prosperity and future, while also issuing warnings about past events.

Shadowfall: Duskheart's father. despite his somewhat intimidating appearance and collected demeanor, Shadowfall was the most playful warrior Mossclan had known. his ability to stay calm during conflict and sense of humor rubbed off onto his son, and always found time in between his apprenticeship to spend time with him.

along with Ebonytail, Shadowfall was killed by a group of rogue cats while on dawn patrol, and currently resides in Starclan.

Ebonytail: Duskheart's mother. a stoic and serious but friendly cat, Ebonytail was a warrior in Mossclan with her mate Shadowfall. teaching her son to be open with his emotions, she was well-known in the clan as an almost immaculate combination of fierce and gentle.

with Shadowfall, Ebonytail was killed by a group of rogue cats while on dawn patrol, and currently resides in Starclan.

Duskheart's Destiny on Sheezy.art + prologue available on Ko-fi!

after giving it some thought, Duskheart's Destiny will available on Sheezy.art when it releases! while Sheezy.art itself does not have a folder to sort artwork, previous and next buttons will be available for easy navigation.

the full prologue for the comic is now available on Ko-fi! pages 4 and 5 can be viewed with a membership, and the cover for chapter 1 will posted in a day or two on there as well! pages 1-3 are already viewable for free on Comicfury.

OC Cameo Call + other news!

i am currently looking for OCs to cameo in a future scene for Duskheart's Destiny! your OC doesn't have to be a cat, but they will be "catified" in the comic!

to submit your OC for a cameo, leave a submission or ask with either Shadeclan or Mossclan as the clan you want your OC to cameo in!

also, Duskheart's Destiny now has an upload schedule! when the comic is officially released to the public, updates will be every Friday at 1:00pm!

the upload schedule is subject to change depending on page productivity (i have ADHD so focus is a concern) and how many pages are ahead on Ko-fi.

speaking of Ko-fi, comic pages will be posted on the platform for early access! Ko-fi subscribers will be able to view the comic first when it starts! gaining early access will only cost $1, but the $3 subscription tier will also include future OC cameos!

the max amount of pages available ahead of Comicfury and Tumblr will likely be 50, but might be reduced depending on productivity. the upload schedule will be the same as prior, every Friday at 1:00pm.

Harmonystar (Kaede): the leader of Harmonyclan. a natural leader figure herself, Harmonystar, then Harmonystripe, set off to form her own clan, hoping to gather cats from all walks of life and form a tight-knit, close group where everyone worked together. their differences should never hinder one another, and she makes sure every problem or conflict is diffused. Harmonystar is optimistic and headstrong, although she can be a little naive. despite being a clan leader, she speaks with and befriends all of her clanmates as equals, often never seen distancing herself from them.

Harmonystar appears to have a close relationship with Sleuthheart, helping him gain confidence in himself.

Moondapple (Kaito): Moondapple is a fiery, energetic, and somewhat egotistical warrior. in his old clan, Moondapple started his warrior training early with the help of one of his friends, long before he was officially made an apprentice. his leader never found out, though some of the adult warriors who knew let it slide.

despite not really caring about Starclan stuff, Moondapple enjoys watching the night sky and often wonders what it's like to be near the real stars. he is close friends with Sleuthheart and helps him gain confidence in himself. Moondapple also seems to have a tense relationship with Duskheart, most of the clan being unsure of why. he appears to feel disappointment and anger towards Duskheart's sullen and depressed behavior.

like Loudclaw, Nighttrick often messes with him to make him angry, being hot-tempered and quick to argue.

Icemask (Tsumugi): the self-proclaimed plainest cat in Harmonyclan. she can't seem to stop talking about what other clans are doing or have done, and only seems to feel visible when acting like other cats. she lacks a presence in the clan, often being overshadowed by her clanmates and her opinions and comments often go unheard. some cats from other clans feel that she is a fairly strange cat.

Snaketail (Korekiyo): Harmonyclan's medicine cat. very mysterious, intelligent, and well-spoken, he naturally has a close connection with Starclan, but is also interested in studying and observing the Dark Forest. he has no interest in switching sides, he simply seeks knowledge. he originally traveled as a rogue, studying different types of clan life, clan history, and herbs. he constantly wears cobwebs on his legs and a mask made of leaves, and is never seen with it off, even while eating or drinking.

Spiderpelt (Kirumi): Harmonyclan's deputy. it seems like she can do anything; not only is she an excellent warrior, she also has knowledge rivaling medicine cats. any task, she can do it. Spiderpelt is very dedicated to serving the clan, so much so that she never took a mate. despite her polite nature and dainty appearance, she is a fierce and authoritative figure, never afraid to put others in their place or fight with everything ounce of strength she has.

more often than not, she is repeatedly lecturing Nighttrick on his constant troublemaking.
