I love how everyone who makes a ‘MossKit survives Au’ makes her a kittypet, or a medicine cat in either Thunderclan or Riverclan. Or she makes it to Riverclan or is taken by a loner or two-leg and raised as Smuge, and or another character; but then there’s me. Making her a fucking Shadowclan warrior who was found by a loner when Bluefur thought she was dead. The loner takes her two Shadowclan territory where she is found by a single warrior and their bloodthirsty so kills her (probably like a young Brokentail and no one knew about it) and he brings Moss to Shadowclan to be raised. (He named her moss cause the loner had wrapped her in moss to keep her warm as they carried her)

She grew up into Mossclaw! Being named after she became a strong fighter. (She was probably Brokentail’s first or second apprentice)

She was one of Brokentail/star’s loyal warriors until she found out what he had done with all the kits. (She was good friends with Yellowfang and her family, and love Marigoldkit and Mintkit, so finding out they were killed by Brokenstar made her angry and found herself becoming a real follower of the code)

She does become leader instead of Blackfoot. As he is blinded by Stonefur before he dies. Also, Mossclaw always knew Bluefur was her mother as she remembers her thinking she was dead and leaving her and how she mourned her before she took her other siblings to Riverclan. So she has no hatred for Bluestar. Mossclaw does go into rage mode due to the fact that Tigerstar practically killed her brother.

When Twanyclaw comes to Shadowclan, Mossclaw becomes her mentor, begging Tigerstar to let her as she was taught by Brokenstar, which made it official.

Twanyclaw is named after Mossclaw and becomes her deputy after Russetfur dies.

Mossclaw was mates with Darkstripe for the bit he was there in Shadow; making her expect his kits. When he tries and kills Stonefur, she attacks him and kills him. Though is attacked by the the other cats and runs to where she saw the other half-clan cats. Meeting Fireheart and Graystripe who came to rescue them.

They run to Thunderclan and everything with Bloodclan and Tigerclan happen.

Mossclaw goes back to Shadowclan, demands the role of leader and she gets it. Getting her nine-lives from

Those are the lives she gets.

She dies around the same time Blackstar does, though a little Later, and Rowanheart (claw) doesn’t become leader, Twanyclaw does as she is appoint deputy after Russetfur dies.

If your wondering what happened with Blackfoot, he retired as a elder after being Blinded. He does have kits with Tallpoppy (none of Tallpoppy’s kits have a father with the father is now Blackfoot)

It was inevitable, and now they’re here. Obsession has evolved into makin’ my own fan clans. So here’s a dump of the four original leaders for the clans. 

Mossstar (Formerly Moss Leap) - She/Her - Founder of Mossclan, a clan somewhere between Thunderclan and Skyclan. Their camp is located in and around a large old oak tree, with the leaders den in a hole at the top, the warriors den below that, Apprentice den below that, Nursery a metre or so off the ground with a large broken branch leading to the ground, and the Medicine and Elder’s den’s are located at the base among the roots. Agile and Athletic, Mossclan cats are known for their climbing and jumping. Proficient tree top hunters.  Steepstar (Formerly Steep Step) - He/Him - Founder of Steepclan, a clan closer to the tribe. Their camp is located in a large cave in a cliffside, a pine forest located at the bottom of the steep slopes. These cats are usually solid builds and large, and are just as at home in tunnels and caves as they are on open ground. They are quiet and reserved, but loyal to a fault.  Divestar (Formerly Deep Dive) - He/Him - Founder of Diveclan, a clan closest to Riverclan. They live on an island in the marshier area of the clans territories. They believe they are closest to Starclan, as their territory has the most Willow trees, and the clans meet each full moon at the Star willow, which they believe is Starclan’s chosen meeting place. Their territory is made up of streams, rivers and lakes, which protect their camp from most invaders. They are small cats, usually with dense fur, and agile swimmers.  Swiftstar (Formerly Swift) - AFAB They/Them - Founder of Swiftclan. Formerly a Kittypet left behind on a camping trip. Swiftclan is closest to Windclan, their camp in a an old quarry on the moors. They are agile and fast, and usually small lanky cats made for speed. They are predominantly caring, quiet cats who keep to their own.  And there we have it, way to much information on make believe cats. Enjoy!

Their story has deeply changed from when I was a young kiddo but they still hold a special place in my heart The design at the top isn’t the “true” design of Mossstar because i had lost my old references but the new one is more true to the original but with subtle hints at who Mossstar becomes

Mossstar - formerly Mossflower - Leader of Rippleclan

Mossstar is probably the chillest leader, he loves making friends and hates conflict so he’ll try to resolve conflict as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Because of this and Cinderstar’s favoritism for peace, Rippleclan and Meadowclan cats are actually rather friendly to each other. (with restrictions, of course, Cinderstar will usually step in if she thinks two cats from each clan are getting too “friendly”, Mossstar has no problem with her doing so)

Mossstar is extremely friendly to loners and rogues, in fact a good chunk of Rippleclan used to be non-clan cats, while Rippleclan has gotten used to it and the Clans sometimes bring in outsiders to grow stronger and keep the bloodlines clean, Mossstar does it too often for many cat’s comfort.

He also loves to tell stories and will often visit the nursery to tell them to kits because most cats (being Rippleclan or not) have already heard all of them. 

Secretly, he gets lonely quickly, being the oldest leader and losing most of his lives due to old age everyone he knew in his younger years have died. Those who know this think the reason he lets so many cats join is because he’s looking for a mate, being uncomfortable in taking a clan-born cat as a mate as he has seen them grow from kit, to warrior or even elder. (though as a young warrior, he did have a crush on someone, and has regretted never following through with it.)

Mossstar: the stern leader of Mossclan, Mossstar is the oldest leader of the three clans, being too stubborn to retire.

Mossstar is a stickler for the Warrior code, upholding order and peace within Mossclan. he is set in his ways due to his age, and often makes complex decisions to abide by the code. Mossstar does not tolerate any code-breaking behaviors in his clan. he has a tendency to go on long speeches about the clan's prosperity and future, while also issuing warnings about past events.
