Is it that crazy that she might want to go back to the English league even for professional reasons ? Let’s face it, Liga F offers no competition, and they win all their domestic trophies every season. Barcelona’s season is the Champions League.
Arsenal haven’t won the league since 2019, the FA Cup since 2016, but they are performing well in the UWCL. This offers a chance for her to go to a team that’s trying to get back where they once were, reform a team to its former glory by attempting to win trophies they haven’t won this decade that they should be winning.
Even if her reasoning was all personal because she wanted to be closer to Bronze, there is no issues with that. I wouldn’t be suprised if Ona does a few years in the WSL, then returns to Barcelona towards the end of her career. A footballers career is 15-20 years, it doesn’t last forever, the English league can offer her way more money than Barcelona can, who have to shift around their finances every time they want to try convince a player to stay.
