WAITING ON THE WORLD TO CHANGE

As I sat down nervously in the lobby, John Mayer‘s “Waiting on the world to change” elegantly flowed out through the almost undetectable ceiling speakers. I looked around my plush surroundings while listening carefully to the lyrics of the song.

I was dressed the part. I think. I looked like I already work there. A smile of satisfaction curled my lips. The receptionist paid me no attention as she typed away on her keyboard while staring intently at her screen. I was waiting for a lady called Louise.

Titled "Series 2", the latest campaign was shot on location in Paris, Miami and New York by Juergen Teller, Bruce Weber and Annie Leibovitz.

With Freja Beha Erichsen and Jean Campbell reprising their roles from AW14's "Series 1" campaign, Rianne Van Rompaey, Daphne Simons and Marte Mei van Haaster also join the cast

Balmain once again lives up to its never disappointing reputation. Enlisted in the Balmain army for their Spring/Summer 2015 advertising campaign are high-calibre top models Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Isabelli Fontana and Crista Cober. The campaign follows up from their Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign concept put together by the brand’s creative director Olivier Rousteing, which featured the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne.

Often cooling in the shadow of her superstar sister, Solange Knowles had long ago carved a special place in our hearts not just for having a famous sister but for her ultra stylish persona, love of bold colours and prints, her quirky motown-influenced music and her general love for all-things retro.

Tying the knot on November 16th in New Orleans to her 51-year-old video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson, the pair arrived at the venue on matching white bicycles.
