I’ve already seen another Tumblr post say basically the same thing but have since lost track of that post otherwise I woulda reblogged it. I find high intelligence legit intimidating (in a good way). The way he memorizes info and winds up with most of Tokyo under his thumb from behind the scenes like it’s nothing is Good Shit.

so the Sports Festival was by far one of my fav episodes of the anime. Watching Hiruma come batshit outta nowhere with a Bizarro Mamori and Yukimitsu was the last thing I needed at 2am because I was trying so hard not to wake my upstairs neighbors. but watching it unfold behind the scenes in the manga? Even better. Seeing the wheels begin to turn in his Evil Mind Factory is freakin hot terrifying.

OKAY. First of BLESS YOU FOR EVEN KNOWING WHO HIRUMA IS!! And Second off, Thank You so much!! I must admit, he’s not an easy character to portray. Mainly because he’s about 238457382 times smarter than the average human, and I’m average as can get. So each reply takes an incredible amount of planning. But I truly enjoy it, because I love him so much.

And I guess in a way, a RP blog is nothing more than adding more content to the one we got, and which I have already binged through. So I gotta make my own content somehow.

Since this user reminded me of the 2005 Jump Festa Eyeshield OVA, I’ll just link it here if any of you haven’t also seen it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgvVHb3GyRs My thoughts: - Hiruma bombing the fuck out of every fugly biker gives me life - then the kids juST GO PLAY IN THE WRECKAGE LIKE IT’S NOTHING?? He must pull this kind of shit pretty often in that case -THEY ACTUALLY LET EVERYONE SWEAR. Instead of pulling the “oh heckie darn peewee you’d better not hecking fudge this up” BS in the subtitles - the Looney Tunes bit with the club security unloading Hiruma’s weapons - Hiruma teasing Mamori about Golden Balls - PLAYING FOOTBALL ON ASPHALT?? ARE YOU TRYING TO BREAK EVERYONE’S BONES? HOW THE FUCK DO CLEATS EVEN WORK ON PAVEMENT - The artwork is pretty clean! Colors are a bit over-saturated tho. - The art on Hiruma is lookin sharp. Literally. I didn’t think it was physically possible for him to be even more pointy but I was proven wrong

- Bouncy Kurita - Sena’s classic “Aw man I can’t do this. Oh wait I can do this, I just have to realize I can do this then Sonic the Hedgehog mode activates” - Total continuity break with the Tokyo Tower. Oh well it was still cool to see them put in basically the entire Hell Tower chapter in the end credits - Yes the voice changes are a bit odd, but they’re not that bad. - except Hiruma. That deeper voice just isn’t as fitting to his character and the VA kind of went a bit too comical with his craziness - Overall, definitely worth a watch! Just prepared to be weirded out by Sena and Kurita’s squeaky voices and Hiruma’s “YA-HA” sounding like a strangled rooster.
