The Garden

• A sanctuary guarded and cared for by the Overseer. It was created as a refuge for toons whose home universes were destroyed by the Anomalies.

• Among its inhabitants are countless toon variants, such as the Boxtens and the Cosmos. To prevent confusion, each toon adopts an Alias.

• In the Garden, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a Common or a Main toon. All variants are treated as equals. No one holds power over another, and none stand above the Overseer.

I like the idea of a Variant looking terrible or weak when arriving at The Garden due to their AU being a bit shitty place to live in

And only able to let themselves go the longer they stayed at The Garden, like they start to look more healthy than when they first arrived.

My example with this would be Bristle and Hyacinth.

Bristle literally came from a War/Military AU, traumatizing world to live in, so the Garden is basically heaven to her, she gets to do whatever she wanted to do without the constant alertness.

Hyacinth's World, while it wasn't so bad except he was always overworked, plus he wasn't really treated well by his family.

It wasn't so great either when he arrived at the Garden, but if you'd ask him, despite everything he likes the living conditions here in The Garden than his old home. Plus he found love so that's a win—

Might as well add Ratchet, this guy arrived scrawny and malnourished, and a bit of a wuss.

He still isn't doing great in The Garden but he is still well fed and healthy now.

Plus no use on worrying about Vampires killing you.

Doll’s ichor in her AU is literally just her species's alien blood.

Their blood can be used for healing too, but only small doses for humans.

Her Toy form acts as an outer shell to protect her,

Twisteds are a different alien colony, much more hostile.

I was curious on what toons in @dw-anomaliesvsvariants were mostly used and not mostly used as variants! I looked over the awesome list that @mabsolgirl did (which omg I appreciate you jfc) and reviewed through the au blog to count. So, here's a list. The mostly used toons lowest number is 5 while the not mostly used is 1 and 0 (obvs). I hope this helps to anyone who's curious! The "1" sometimes represent when the owner is planning on making one in a future or just a cool person who made one! I'll try to update it once a month if any new fellas appear :D

Name: GOOB |-| Alias: "GADGET"

Originating from a world where Dandy's world was rebooted in the mid 2010s. Gadget is a "Tech-smart" inventor who is constantly coming up with new and wacky ideas to tinker with. He is an extremely helpful addition to the agents as his intelligence and can-do attitude allows him to support his teammates exceptionally well.

... He misses his sister dearly. Poor fella.

Name: SHRIMPO |-| Alias: "SLUGGER"

Originating from a bleak and surreal world where he is the sole eradicator of its inhabitants. Slugger is well known for expressing his feelings bluntly and quite frankly is rude to most people he talks to. (Like all Shrimpos tend to be) But he can become quite the character when he's engaged in battle; dropping the vulgar attitude completely as he masquerades as an overzealous madman. While he's an unlikely agent, he proves his worth in the ranks by being an efficient exterminator of the Null threat.

I can't help but feel something is OFF about him...

Name: SPROUT |-| Alias: "BAKER"

Originating from a world where this variant of Sprout had grown a taste for Toon flesh. Baker is surprisingly friendly and means well, despite how unnerving appears to be. He serves as a proficient medic; with his cupcakes being able to heal exceptionally well.

It is recommended that you hand him a snack or two just in case. You wouldn't want to see him hangry.

Name: SHRIMPO |-| Alias: "HARDSHELL"

Originating from a world where Toonkind is in a decades long war against the demonic forces of Hell. Hardshell is the pure embodiment of a blunt instrument; with him having no regard for his own safety, always jumping straight into the fray even when he's ordered not to. Because of his constant recklessness, he is often scolded by his superiors and fellow agents alike. But above all else, Hardshell proves his worth by possessing the courage inside himself to face things head on.

Also get this guy a therapist or something, he's got too many deep rooted issues.

Anomalies simply desolve and be one with the Null,

If someone’s universe destroys itself after a major event is disrupted is there a chance that at least one toon is alive from that universe?

If they're evacuated to the Garden in time yes, nobody can survive the destruction.

Does Doll ever get Boosted? Even if she doesn't do you have an idea what she'd look like if Boosted?

I think with how ichor works in Wasteland, she would struggle a bit to keep her 'Toy' form and the ichor will define her alien appendages more.
