Hi, everybody! Thought I would update you on my new job:

I’m tired and my feet hurt. The end. 

Okay, no, that’s not all. I am enjoying the job so far (after getting over most of my first day jitters), but I’ve been working all week after training all last week, and I haven’t had a lot of energy to spare. Plus, tonight I work until 8:30. Basically, my mind’s been kinda thbpbpthpt. 

That being said, I do want to come back and write, and I’m going to try to over the weekend, or whenever my next legitimate day off is. 

I really miss writing and talking with everyone. I’ll be back as soon as I can!

This moment completely took my breath away the very first time I saw the movie & to this day it’s still one of the best thing I’ve experienced in a theatre !

The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey

So, I finally found a new job. Hooray! I’m training this week, and then, I start for real next week.

That’s really where my head is right now. Today was my first day of training and I’m exhausted. So, I’m probably going to be quiet on here for awhile. I’ll try to get on when I can and reply to my drafted threads, but I’m gonna be slow. 

I really want to get on here and write, but I also need to concentrate on this right now. Thank you all for putting up with me.

Éowyn: He looked at me the way all woman want to be looked at….

“Why?” Fili asked, turning back around. “You won’t let me help you. What’s the point?”

Fili took a deep breath and stood. “Fine. I’ll leave you alone, then,” he said, going to leave.

Kili’s eyes widened “Fee wait! You can’t just leave me!”

“Didn’t you just say you didn’t want to be fussed over?” he asked, looking over his shoulder.

Fili took a deep breath and stood. “Fine. I’ll leave you alone, then,” he said, going to leave.

“Well, someone has to, since you won’t let me tell her and uncle! Durin’s beard, Kili, why won’t you let anyone help you?”

“I wish,” Fili retorted. “I’d need two of me to deal with you! Frankly, I’m impressed you can still be so stubborn when you can’t even sit up on your own!”

Fili cried out in surprise. “Don’t act like you weren’t going to vomit all over me if you had the chance,” he shot back, rubbing his arm.

Fili gave his brother a considering look before looking back at Oin. “I’ll take care of it.”

“See that you do,” the old healer said. “I’ll be back with something for the lad to take.” With that, he left the two alone.

Fili immediately sat down on the bed to help him sit up. “Slowly, brother,” he said. “Slowly.”

“Why don’t you want your uncle to know?” Oin asked. “He wouldn’t be very happy to have this kept from him.”

Oin nodded, reaching over to feel his forehead. “Definitely a fever. Have you vomited anything up yet?”

“Nay, not yet” he squinted at Fili

Fili narrowed his eyes back. “Make sure to give him your best elixir, Oin.”

“Don’t rush me, lad,” Oin scolded. “Has your uncle been informed?”

“Not yet,” Fili said.

Oin nodded, reaching over to feel his forehead. “Definitely a fever. Have you vomited anything up yet?”

“You’re going to thank me in the end,” Fili muttered as he grabbed Kili up by the back of his tunic.

“What seems to be the trouble, lad?” Oin asked as Fili helped his brother back onto the bed.
