Page 6 all done. As usual (bad spellar here) there’s spelling errors. If the book sees print someday, the lettering will be the first thing i fix. I’m not opposed to changing them by digital means. Kinda want to because i still despise the way I’m doing them. I may even stop inking the letters here on out and just leave them as pencils. ...all of this is an experiment:) Next up is a new tale...a tale...OF ESCAPE! Sea ya laiter!

Making Spring
Another page down. I made the choice to pencil all three pages before inking in order to make sure the style and characters retained their voice throughout the story. One of my big hang ups with sequential work has to do with exactly that. Can i move a figure around and have them always look the same? Can i make the page layouts sound familiar to each other? I’m not sure this was a fully successful exercise in that regard, but there’s only one way to get better at it. #dothatshit
A few months back a fella contacted me about buying the Hotel Hearts print package for his wife. As you can see, she really went above and beyond when it came to displaying the work. This is amazing!

Movin’ along. Sixth page of the book, third, and final, page of the story...donzo. Last panel is empty because I still have to design the following tale. I’ll be writing and drawing that story as well. After that we may be seeing a few guest collaborators on Atomic Tales of Escape!

Next page is up on the board. I’m gonna do another 16 panel grid. But, daydreams are gonna consume the page, causing 10 of the panels to break apart and reveal the mess of arcade neon that’s inside her head.
