Paige: do you know anything about 2 dead bodies I cleaned up out of the cafeteria kitchens at 4am?
Scott: wasn’t me this time. Surprise, surprise.
tylernolans:
“If you have to ask, then it doesn’t. And see, there’s a tiny little issue with that. There’s nothing fun to do. I regret…” What did he regret? Eternity? Yes, that was definitely it. “Many things.”
Scott rolled his eyes, a bit too dramatically for the situation at hand but he didn’t care. “Then quit your griping.” He said back, his tone cool and collected. This was a normal exchange for him, something he’d grown used to. And while Scott didn’t particularly care about desecration, he still quite enjoyed the set up he had, he wasn’t about to ruin it by being sloppy. “And I’m the boring one.”
“Ugh, I smell like wet dog,” Aaron griped, stripping off his soaked shirt. “Apparently it’s warm enough that snow is sliding off the roof in clumps.”
“Believe me, we know.” Scott said, raising a brow as he looked away. It was a lie, clearly, but the demon lived to take jabs. “Global warming, haven’t you heard?”
tylernolans:
“Fine, Jack Frost. Be boring.” He glared at Scott. “Cold is useless here anyway. We’re already in Canada. What more do you fucking want?”
Turning his head to the side, Scott smiled at Tyler, eyes narrowing into slits as he did. “Does it really matter what I want?” He asked casually, as if commenting on the weather. “What about you, sunshine? If you want fun so bad, by all means, do something.”
tylernolans:
“I don’t see any fire,” Tyler deadpanned. “Please, do something. I’m dying here.”
“I’m not a show pony. Maybe some other time if you’re lucky. Besides, fire isn’t my cup of tea. I prefer things much colder.”
“Can you set her on fire just by staring at her? Is that what you’re trying to do?” Tyler poked them in the side. “Come on, wake up. This is the worst murder in history.”
“No, but fire does seem like a good place to stare.” Scott said sarcastically. The truth was that he’d been hunting this one for quite some time now and he was ready to collect.
“ You know if you’re going to stare you can at least tell me you’re name first. “ he told the person in front of him. A hint to playfulness in his tone.
“I wasn’t aware I was.” Scott replied flatly. “But of course. Scott Lidell, history professor.”
ericwxverly:
“Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, I suppose.”
“Right you are.”
ericwxverly:
“Well, I think it’s pretty fair to say that this year hasn’t exactly been the most positive.”
“Well, I happen to think it was all quite lovely. Good entertainment and all of that.”
“Well, I can’t say that I will miss this year. Let’s just hope that the new year’s a lot less negative, yeah?”
“Negative? Now who said anything about negative?”
alexisthatshit:
“No, not really.”
“Why not?”
jennahcpkins:
“Well, I can’t sell my student’s souls without a good reason first.” Jenna laughed, obviously making a joke. “What, did someone forget to turn in a paper? Miss a final? Steal your favorite pen?”
“No, not selling, collecting. And that’s my job, love.” He flashed her a grin, “something along those lines.”
“I am the worst at Christmas shopping. “ Wes groaned a little as he scrolled through amazon, hoping for ideas. “I’ve been with my fiance for years and I still don’t know what to get her. And then my family is a whole other story.” He muttered.
“Clearly. Tell me, do you listen to them at all when they talk or do you just tune out their interests in favor of your own?” Scott asked, raising a brow at the young man.
harlowxhanson:
“I’m just really worried about keeping my GPA up.” Harlow sighed, twirling a piece of her hair between her fingers “I don’t want my scholarship pulled.”
“Well, I’m sure a smart girl like you will have no problem with that. Bad exam?”
jennahcpkins:
“Why? What did they do?”
“That’s for me to know, love. Don’t you worry about it.”
jennahcpkins:
“Unfortunately for me, flattery will get you whatever you want — Now, what DO you want, exactly?”
“I need your help finding someone and I believe they’re in your class.”
logan-atkins:
“Because you can’t answer why I should.”
“Isn’t that what makes it fun?”
