Persistence in Devotion
Devotion is her specialty
Routine is her form of discipline
Ignorance is her sheild of confidence
Her shoulders; sharp like stiff peaks
Wings in place of her shoulders
Gaunt, prominent branches poke through her chest; sprouting out her skin
Daggers line her back as she bends
Roots elongate from her trunk; splitting, losing anchor
Her ears hear lies, while her brain speaks the 'truth'
Surrounding neglect drives her to pursue; from the ledges from her hips to the sinkholes within her eyes
No one can see her—this makes her imperfect
The devotion is no longer enough if nobody can see
She persists, her ignorance being bliss
Persists
Persists
Persists
Until herself can no longer be; devoted, with speciality
