carol didn’t hesitate to take out the walker as it approached her. the truth was, this place was killing her. once all the saviors were gone, perhaps she’d be calmer. once sophia was gone too. but her life and her state of mind had been tested again and again and carol felt as though she was tearing at the seams. at least if she could find more, weapons, food, anything, she would be being useful. the silver-haired woman paused, raising her weapon when she heard another noise, her piercing blue eyes scanning for another person.
Gunfire. Short and controlled bursts of gunfire but it was gunfire all the same. Around a tight corner alleyway a figure, decked out in Kingdom armor stopped to fire at oncoming walkers. The small herd was smashing against the walls of the alley, filling up space. While they were in tight groupings, he burned through his magazine. David made a quick switch with the rifle magazines, having two taped together at a time, and quickly slapped the second in place after removing the first. Grabbed from behind, the bitter knocked the rifle out of his hands. Pressed against the wall, he held the thing at bay with the tapped padding of his jacket. He punched the bitter off and promptly slammed it;’s head against the alleywall. Moving down the street, unintentionally running towards Carol before he finally saw her, “ Oh shit....sorry about this. They are fresh we should run.”
