enid wasn’t often judith’s babysitter. she wasn’t sure how good she was with children in general, but enid wanted to be. with maggie’s baby coming soon and the youngest grimes always around, enid wanted to learn. she took more naturally to it than she realised ( or admitted ) and often found herself grinning, as she usually never did, when judith reached up to her.

sherry had been walking for days. she was starving, dehydrated, and the black dress she wore as one of the wives was torn and dirtied from her week of being alone after escaping the sanctuary. but suddenly she came across a place with high walls, and approached the gate. she didn’t care whose group it was; she was desperate for food and water and a place to stay. what she didn’t know was that it was alexandria itself, the base camp of rick and his people. “hello?” she called breathlessly, putting her last bits of energy into the shout, then pounded weakly against the gate, letting her bag drop to the ground. “is someone there?!”

LOCATION: out in the woods, anywhere ( probably not too far from the kingdom )

carolyn rarely ventured into the woods, but she wanted to pick some flowers when they were just blooming. something to put in the daycare area of the kingdom. to cheer up the place even more. she looked around as she readjusted the basket over her arm, already having a good collection going inside it. when she saw someone approach, however, she readjusted her cannula and stopped in place. “can i help you?” she asked kindly. “i was just collecting some flowers. nothing too exciting.”

LOCATION: the hilltop ( your character can be approaching the gate from the outside or the inside )

with gregory constantly breathing down her neck, here wasn’t much for maggie to do in regards to the fight. besides plan it behind his back. she still needed to get to rick, to get his help. but she also had to think about the one depending on her now. as she slowly rubbed her hand over her mostly flat abdomen, maggie stared out over the gate that bordered the hilltop, silently watching the view from outside. she looked down, though, as a figure approached the gate, furrowing her eyebrows at them. “somethin’ you need?”

“This place is about as boring as a old folks home.” Laura said with a smirk as she walked through the gates of Alexandria.

❛ what’re you doin? ❜ he was out on a run, gathering supplies needed ( that he could find, at least ). the figure he had called out to was unfamiliar, albeit them being turned away and in his peripheral vision. it could either be a grave mistake, or a simple greeting.
