hello everyone!! tristan here!

so i haven’t been around in a long, long time. and honestly,,,,,, coming back here is giving me anxiety. SO!!! i’m gonna be moving this blog. i’m not gonna be posting the new url, but i’m gonna be following people i’d still love to rp with. the reason is that it’s overwhelming having so many followers and it’s lovely having so many people interested in writing with me but. it’s also more than i can handle lmao. 

anyway, if i don’t follow you, please don’t take it personally, i’m just trying to keep it clean so this doesn’t happen again!! just gonna make lucifer a selective blog.

the brief flash of hesitation gives him hope. but oh, how foolish hope is. hope is for mortals, for those in need of something greater to believe in. there is nothing greater that lucifer can believe in  — but he believes in her. despite everything, he does. and though he’s been saying it for years now, how he doesn’t deserve her, that doesn’t stop him from wanting, from yearning. with a deep breath, he forces himself to gather his trembling courage. this time their hands meet. his fingers wrap around hers soflty, willing her to stay, but prepared to let her go if that’s what she truly wants. 

“because, detective, you’re the only person who knows me, all of me. and by some... miracle” he winces at the word, but he carries on. “you’re still here  — every time i’ve run from this, from us, has been because i was afraid of losing you, detective. i thought the loss would weigh less if i walked away first. but i’ve been wrong all along.”
