SFBs highlight hidden radiometric signatures in multispectral imagery through sophisticated transforms that make targeted objects clearly distinguishable with respect to their surroundings. SFBs are computed using a near-linear-complexity algorithm with minimal hardware requirements. The demo shows a pansharp RGB image of a residential neighborhood in Ankara, Turkey (first), the SFB targeting buildings with red roofs (second), and the CSL semantic triplet developed at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (jrc) for the detection & segmentation of building footprints (third).
