i've been hearing a lot of discourse about "achieving freedom" lately. (or maybe i have one too many podcast clips on my fyp.) all kinds of people achieve freedom through all sorts of things — money, travel, manipulation, sport. i achieved my freedom through control. i am the mastermind behind my own destruction. and the thing with that is that i've always been a self-destructive individual but forcing myself to be aware of it and moreso conscious of my behaviour puts me in charge > gives me the freedom i always needed.

moral of the story is: get worse, it's fun.
