Lol some male hairdresser I follow on Instagram (I like seeing fun hair dyes and shit) posted on his story about “hurr durr not all women have vaginas posting about them for IWD is white feminism” and I responded saying sorry but women of colour are disproportionately affected by restrictions to reproductive rights and female bodies are oppressed worldwide regardless of race, class, sexuality etc so it’s not white feminism to talk about and celebrate our bodies. And if women talking about our bodies makes some people uncomfortable then that’s sexism.

I’ll probably be ignored or blocked but I don’t care, men need to shut the fuck up about “white feminism” forever

Liza had moved to a farm in upstsate New York and Penny was living in New York City, where we had both grown up.
