Women!: Police are not your friends! Conservatives aren't looking out for you! Men aren't going to give up the patriarchy!
should I use this blog again? radfemblr seems to be in absolute shambles once more.
Begone terf
logging on after years and this is the only thing in my inbox is very fucking funny
Itâs so unfair that the women who lead the Temperance movement (which led to alcohol prohibition in the 1920s in the US) are painted as these joyless prudish nags who hated when others had fun, when really their issue was the fact that male failure to responsibly consume alcohol led to the rape, neglect, battery, and murder of their wives and children. They couldnât stop male violence, but they did what they could to stop what exacerbated it.Â
How would you define male and female?
To me? They are meaningless. I cannot for the life of me fathom what they are and what they mean.Â
âBlack women wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and see black women. White women wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and see women. White men wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and see human beings.â â Michelle Haimoff.
The meaninglessness of biology in a world where female biology is overwhelmingly the target of anti-choice legislation, slavery, the withholding of education, forced/mandatory pregnancy, rape, murder, incest, paedophilia and mutilation, is a privilege that very few female human beings on this planet have access to. If you are able to say to biology, âyou are meaninglessâ then you have no idea what it is like to be oppressed on the axis of biology, and ignoring it is a violent slap in the face of the women and girls all over the world who are oppressed on the basis of being born female. This cavalier attitude towards human biology and the behaviours that exist in response to it is dishonest, it is in denial, it is oppressive, and it is above all, misogynistic. It is also anti-intersectional, as it completely ignores how women of colour are further violated on the grounds of their biology. Saying that sexual biology is meaningless is on the same level of delusion as, âskin colour is meaninglessâ or âdisability is meaninglessâ or ârace is meaningless, I cannot for the life of me fathom it or what it meansâ. It is not meaningless. It is a biological reality, it is a group that people are born into and on this basis are subjected to horrific treatment that is specific to that particular group.
Happy pride month to all my fellow LGBT folks! We outchea surviving and shit
A miserable pride month to all the terf dykes
how on earth can you possibly justify pretending to not be homophobic while calling women you donât like derogatory slurs
âHappy pride! Except for you nasty dykes!!!â Fuck off you homophobe
âterf doesnât mean lesbian uwuâ explain this shit then đ€đ€đ€đ€đ€
It doesnât. Thatâs why terf is in front of dyke. Simple.
How dense do people have to be. Terfs donât deserve coddling. There is such a problem in the lesbian community of believing that trans women are below them.
Terf isnât a slur, TERFS ARE A PROBELM THAT NEEDS TO BE CALLED OUT.
die. die. I hope you and op fucking die.
every day a post comes across my dash wherein my immediate response is âfrom the bottom of my heart, die opâ.
today it's "A miserable pride month to all the terf dykes" die.
every day a post comes across my dash wherein my immediate response is "from the bottom of my heart, die op".
Honestly vulvas are gorgeous, delicious, and tasting a woman come is a borderline religious experience and Iâd rather die with a womanâs trembling thighs clamped around my head than hear another lesbophobe try to talk shit about lesbian sexuality
Donât fucking call anyone âtrannyâ? i dont care how bad of a person they are???
âuh theyâre a bad person, they dont deserve respectâ
Its not about respecting THEM, and its absolutely not about validating them. (and yes, âtrannyâ is a pejorative)
If you dont call all gay men âfaggotsâ, then you surely wouldnt call even an entitled/immoral/abusive/etc gay man a âfaggotâ right? You wouldnât call someone a racical slur even if theyâre entitled/immoral/abusive/etc? Because homophobia and racism is inherently wrong, and isnt something you would use when it suits you, right?
Why is transphobia any different? I dont care if you dont think transwomen are women, i dont care if you think GRS is mutilation, i dont care if you think males are males and should always be referred to as such, please dont use slurs that humiliate and dehumanise all of us, even if you only use it towards one of us, even if that person deserves to be humiliated and dehumanised
Like i would call jeffree dahmer a disgusting, predatory, perverted, horrible sack of shite cumbrain, but wouldnt fucking refer to him as a âfaggotâ, and thats NOT out of respect for him, but for everyone else whoâs had that slur thrown at them.
Sometimes I feel like radical feminists are the ânot like other girlsâ of the feminist community. They want so badly to be important and different that they are willing to sell other women up the river which directly contradicts what feminism is about.
can you elaborate on how radical feminists are selling other women up the river? cause what i see is radical feminism being open to all women
@critical-living I would have if you would have allowed comments on your post but since you asked I will repost my own post and correct you. Radical feminists are often directly against intersectional feminism which the branch of feminism that literally excludes everyone (since feminism isnât just for women but all genders) radfems often are aggressive towards other women for making choices that fit gender roles or at the very least most radfems side with the right to pass anti-trans and anti-abortion laws that oppress women. In short radfems oppress women that donât fit their image of what a feminist should be.
hey! thanks for posting this and proving you actually have no concept of what radical feminism in. do you want to link me sources of any radfem being anti-abortion? because you're wrong. and if the anti-trans laws that you're talking about is stricter laws against children being allowed to take untested medication to stop puberty and laws to keep sex segregated bathrooms because females are an oppressed class that deserve vulnerable space away from males regardless of how they identify... then yeah I guess you got me there. also I don't think you actually read crenshaw's essay about intersectionality since that isn't actually what intersectionality even means. I'm gonna be nice and give you the run down: radical feminism is about female (AFAB, what have you) liberation against male (AMAB) power because women (females) are an oppressed class of people based on their sex. anti abortion laws (that radfem don't support, ever, not once, I promise you), child brides, genital mutilation, femicide, rape - all of these things overwhelmingly and in some cases ONLY affect female people (which means trans men too!). radical feminism is about the material reality of our lives and the material reality is that there is one sex of people who have been subjugated and oppressed for thousands of years across all cultures and races and one sex of people who has been doing the oppressing and those sexes are females and males, respectively. gender is the oppressive roles that have forced women to stay subservient, and the roles that have allowed men to control them. when a male (AMAB) becomes gender non-conforming and starts identifying as a woman, that does not magically make him no longer the oppressive class, though he may now face violence for not performing manhood in the correct way. radical feminists believe in the DESTRUCTION of gender so that that person can live their life without violence, but that doesn't automatically make them female and that doesn't mean they belong in female only spaces. I hope this helps and you do some more reading instead of repeating some vague posts you read on Tumblr.
i can't believe that anon is acting all high and mighty about decolonization when they can't even remember (or don't even care about) all of the continents that europe colonized đ
that Anon is also definitely white
Alison Bechdel endorsing a book that basically.. endorses the corrective rape of lesbians really makes me feel so alone and so betrayed. The book is called Adam and is about a man (âcisâ if you need that word) pretending to be a trans man so he can have sex with a lesbian. He has sex with her with his penis in her vagina and lies and says it is a strap on. Which is RAPE. She says âshe knewâ he was a guy and then gets a âcisâ boyfriend to end the book to make sure you know that this former âlesbianâ likes dick now. So⊠yâknow, this book basically is letting you know how corrective rape can work in queer circles. I have had a lot to drink over this tonight because I am truly upset and have nobody keeping me in check lol. Like my rapist, queer circles will always think I am a little broken bitch if I donât shut up and worship males and penis. Most of the criticisms I see are about how the book is âtransphobicâ. All I can say is: any book which is about lesbians âcoming around to penisâ is conversion therapy rhetoric and that if you have a problem labeling a book like this homophobic you should take a long, hard look at yourselves. I am honestly just shaken and sometimes it takes me aback to remember that as a corrective rape victim, people fucking hate me.
if youâre ever embarrassed or insecure about something you wanna do, like walking around with hairy legs, demanding your rights, applying for a job you donât have full qualification, going out looking less than perfect, telling someone to fuck off and coming off rude, just remember that even the most mediocre man would have done it with zero shame, guilt or doubt, and would fight anyone who thinks heâs wrong.Â
is your radical feminist anti-colonialism? Does your radical feminist support decolonizing and de-christianization of the Americas, and Indian sub-continent? If not you may just be aligned with Christian conservatives, colonialists and people who support the president ie racists.
I'm brown idiot
