well its noncanon but that doesnt mean he cant be out of the water. he can only survive i thinkkkk ive said around 1 day? siren in my au have specifically adapted to sit outside of the water for many days straight trying to lure in their prey, so they evolved specialized organs near their gills. eeltho struggles with this because he kept far away from the surface during his development and ended up stunting his own growth in that regard.
