Lennox folded arms over her chest defensively in response to Dylan’s harsh tone, feeling attacked, personally responsible for disrupting the civilians’ peaceful life course. “Uh–” and she didn’t know what to say in her defense. Something the other had said though, sparked her interest but she waited until she got up before asking her question. “What have you heard? What are people saying?” Dylan, the voice of people could enlighten her– Lennox sometimes got so wrapped up in the mafia business she forgot about the world outside. “Yeah– um, could you inspect my car?”
dylan didn’t realize right away who was strolling up on her, lennox. she knew almost everyone in town, having grown up here she made it her job to understand the ins and outs, helped that her father’s old mechanic shop was notorious for great service, to cosa nostra anyways. she lifted her head, her eyebrow lifting with a soft grin. “nothin’ but chaotic things.. lennox.” dylan hummed and leaned up against the truck once more, her lip curling into a soft smile. “yeah, everything alright with it?” she questioned.
