The swooshing open of an automatic door caught Natsu’s full attention as he walked close to it. It was strange, not something he had seen before. But a feeling of curiosity filled him as he proceeded to jump back and forth from inside the building to outside it. He did not know how this door opened automatically. The Dragon Slayer did not sense any magic coming from it and was about to continue until he found out why when his partner redirected his attention.
“Natsu we have to get going to our new home,” Happy said while walking through the door, equally enthralled with the mystical device they found. But he was able to direct his attention at reaching their new home in this world.
Natsu simply grinned to his partner and walked through the main entrance of the apartment complex. The two reached the end of the hall and began searching for a way up when Happy pointed out twin metallic doors. The wizard saw what appeared to be a button and pressed it. Nearly immediately a ding sounded and the doors slid open. The two entered and stood in the middle, with one of them being full of excitement at being able to try something new.
“We are on the thirteenth floor,” Happy said while looking at the ID that he had been given.
Natsu pressed the button marked thirteen, it was obviously what was going to raise this room to that floor. As soon as the elevator started two movements occurred, one was the machine pulling the elevator up, and the other was Natsu’s stomach as he fell against the wall, trying to grab whatever he could to keep himself up.
“Fine…” he muttered while trying to control the sickness he was getting.
“Hang on Natsu,” Happy said as the elevator climbed to their floor. As the doors opened the exceed walked out in the hall of the thirteenth floor. He turned to face the elevator and only saw the doors close behind him followed by a muffled sound of sickness from his partner as it continued its journey upwards.
