“Rain? Chii has been out in the rain before! It makes things look so pretty that Chii always has to stop and look.” She liked the rain and hearing it hit the floor. It seemed to not be everyone’s favorite time but, to her it brought a sense of calmness to herself and to people she knew before arriving here.

ah, such childlike innocence. the point the girl brought up was, indeed, true. however… it couldn’t be said that it is indeed safe to let that guard down.

“ i’d say that’s true, but an attack doesn’t have to be quite visible to be dangerous. like, say… spies, assassins. for all you know… ” in place of her previous light expression is replaced with a smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes as she leans forward.

“ wouldn’t you say that i may be a dangerous person, knowing nothing about me? ”

she pauses, for a second, letting this statement hang in the air.

it isn’t very long before she dismisses it with a small sigh, her posture turning more neutral. that works, as a brief warning, a reminder; she has no intentions of seeing through the role of a villain. “ now, isn’t that food for thought? i say, there’s still importance in exercising caution. who knows, what temperament will the next person you talk to have…? ”

Saying that Chii wasn’t surprised by the other’s actions would be a lie. She was surprised by how the other got closer to her and how they mentioned spies or assassins. She never took the moment to think about it. It was possible that it could happen. She would have to keep it in mind just in case.

A dangerous person? True, the other could be dangerous since she knew nothing about her but, if she was so dangerous wouldn’t she have done something to show how dangerous she could be instead of being friendly? She was a few seconds too late since the other quickly changed her posture and spoke once more.

               “That is true. Chii will make sure to take cautious steps for the next person she meets. Though for right now, since you hold no ill will towards Chii, we could use this chance for Chii to understand why you are visiting here.” 

She held no fear from the actions and statement from before, but she did make sure to keep an eye out for any signs of harm directed towards her.

Chii didn’t have an affinity for nature like another race would but as she was near the great tree, she could see the leaves wilting and falling. The once beautiful tree was dying and becoming a mass of just its branches. A sad expression crossed her features as she looked at the tree. It was still light out which meant she was safe for the time being but, she knew she should head back to her kingdom to try to avoid her mist reaper. 

Although, she had many worries. To this day, she has avoided her mist reaper and only been confronted at least once or twice earlier when they first showed up. Right now she knew she couldn't keep avoiding them forever. Eventually, she would have to face them to get rid of them or to have someone else do it for her. She could provide background help at least. 

Shaking her head, she buried her worries and quickly turned away from the big tree and moved to quickly rush back to the main city of her kingdom. Best to be around others where the defense was better then out in the open where anything could happen.

          “Chii will do her best to help but, it probably wont mean much since fighting is not normally needed for Chii.”

when surveying other kingdoms, those that called out to her are usually aggressive; challenging her, pointing out that she should stick her territory, along with other more violent remarks. it’s understandable, given the tension of the war… and with the frequency of such events and how she went through such things even before here, jeers were easy enough to ignore.

being complimented like this, however, was a pleasant surprise. even in gensokyo, people were far too wary of her for such an interaction.

“ oh, yes. i’m not from this area, so it’s a given that you haven’t seen me around. ” with a light smile, yukari comes closer. “ no, it’s no problem. rather, i’m glad – i’d say that your scales are rather radiant themselves. but, as for what i am… ”

always one with the flair for dynamics, she let her wings flutter a little as she gave a little curtsy. “ a humble, visiting faekin. i appreciate the compliment, truly; many people are rather wary of me here, see? due to how i’m different. shouldn’t you be more wary, with the war afoot? ”

The other girl seemed to be quite kind. Even happy by her comments, this made her even more happy. Just to see that, she was able to bring a smile to someone was enough. Although, Chii didn’t expect them to approach her. Perhaps, she should get out of the water so, they didn’t get too close. Who knows what the other merfolk here would do. She doubted, they would be mean since she was in a conversation with the fae. 

               “Oh! Chii thanks you for the compliment. Chii’s scales are quite interesting and different from the others. Possibly it whats makes us all different from on another.” 

Although, the mention of being a faekin brought more questions but, she would keep them to herself. Surly the other wasn’t here to be question constantly. “Wary? Chii supposes that she should but, even with the war that was told to us nothing has happened. Why should we be wary when there hasn’t been any attacks?” Smiling at the other, she hoped her point was valid enough to explain herself. It was true though, she hasn’t been attacked by anyone who tried to cause harm even in the name of war.

Chii was enjoying a nice relaxation in one of the streams of her kingdom. Smiling to herself, she didn’t really want to leave this place since she was enjoying it so much. Plus, if she needed to go anywhere she could just swim there. Although, her attention was quickly grabbed by something, no someone, she never seen before. Were those wings? They were pretty. Same with the things on their head. Shifting a bit, she couldn’t help but stare for a second before calling out.

               “Chii hopes you don’t mind too much but, what are you? Chii has never seen you here before! Your wings are very pretty so, Chii was curious.” 

She held no malice or possible distaste for the fact someone who wasn’t common here was well... here. She only had curiosity and the urge to know more.

Chii was in awe with her new look. How did she go from an android to having a tail? She didn’t hate it. Ever since, she learned of her tail and tried to get up on land only to see herself grow legs as if it was second nature, she went round to sate the weird craving for food. After she filled herself up, she ended up wandering.

Her scales shined brightly as she walked but, she paid no mind to it. She was thinking way to much. So much, she didn’t notice where she was heading. Or the fact, she wandered out of the opal-like kingdom. Once she realized she was out of bounds, she looked around. A horrible move on her part. Although, the forest was quite beautiful so, she didn’t mind her wandering.

Looking around, she smiled a bit then took a seat under a tree where the light shined through, this would be her spot now. She would come here when things go rough and she need a place to relax.

               “This isn’t so bad... Chii likes it here...”

i updated chii’s fantasia war info a bit. i finally decided exactly what kind of fish she is! and due to this i updated her color scheme and added in the other about her robot ears and what replaces them!

Fantasia War Event Info!

➺ Basics!

Name: Chii Age: Around the mid- late teens. Species: Merfolk (Platinum Angelfish) Appearance: As any normal merfolk, Chii has the gills on her neck and the beautiful tail. Her tail flares similar to how and angelfish tail flares, the color of it is is a shimmery white color, think opal that shines rainbow in the sunlight, it shimmers just perfectly to give off a beautiful look. Her hair is still long and blond with it clipped in the front by white & pink hairclips. She also wears a light pink top to cover herself. Her eyes are still its honey gold color and seem to be more alive unlike how she is normally seen. Upon gaining legs and walking on land, she wears a white & pink dress that shows off her arms and legs. Her scales can be seen as well and almost always shimmer like a rainbow as she walks. She does her best to keep the gills hidden with her hair though. 

➺ Abilities

Retained: defense mechanism can be used five times a day. Spells: Barrier, Charm, Heal, and Blessing. Weapons: None. She isn’t good when it comes to weapons but, she could learn. A weapon appropriate for her to learn is most likely any short-range weapons without too much weight. Race specific abilities: she has enhanced speed when it comes to swimming. can help someone breath underwater as long as she is holding their hand.

➺ Affiliation

Kingdom: The Opalarian Empire Occupation: Works at any shops that sells pastries as an attention grabber. She tries to bring humans into the shop to spend their coins on their treats.  Allegiance: She does love her kingdom but, she wishes to keep conflict aside and for everyone to be together in harmony. Sometimes, she has a neutral view on everything and will tend to side with whoever seems to be the more powerful. She doesn’t have a huge view on what is right and what is wrong so, she tends to mostly stay neutral. Can be located: Any of the deep channels of water relaxing and sunbathing. he doesn’t mind showing off her tail and enjoying the sun. On land, she can be seen at any shops that sells pastries since she can eat them now. She could also possibly be working there as well.

➺ Other

chii still tends to have zero sense of danger and doesnt really realize that something might be amiss. she freely walks into danger 5/10 times. 

due to her being no longer an android, she has a horrible sense of direction. do not ask her where something is cause she might get you lost.

even though the whole situation is odd to her, she is happily enjoying it cause she is “human” in a sense. 

where chii’s persocom ears are there is now fins of a white-opal color.

Another soul-shaking cry echoed throughout what remained of the city. But it wasn’t merely glass that shattered this time, but the world around them.
