My New HG Facial Wash: Lightning Bunny by Skinpotions Review
Good day lovelies! Been hiatus for a week bc of school but for today let me introduce to you my favorite facial wash ever! I know i know, its from skinpotions again and you might think im being a bit bias with this brand but hey i've only been using their products last november and it did a lot of miracle na to my skin compared to other brands i've been using for a long time. I still never regret switching to my new skinpotions skin care routine hehe.
So here is the new "Lightning Bunny" facial wash from skinpotions. It comes in a white bottle pump with the signature "pink + floral + rabbit" packaging of skinpotions hahaha thats what i've noticed with most of their products design. It has already a soft brush tool. I got this for only 270pesos instead of 450 pesos (regular price) for 100ml !!! Yaaay such a good deal! On the bottle are the ingredients indicated, and it contains rosehip oil which my skin is very fond of. My skin really reacts well to products with rosehip oil. It also contains coconut oil and aloe vera extract which can soothes irritated, damaged skin. Most organic products i've tried contains this phenoxyethanol, even on liptints. Well it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't irritate my skin. It also says that it has a high percentage of linoleic acid that effectively reduces blemishes, making skin even fairer.
Talking about its performance, it really resembles Ā its name "lightning bunny" in one wash, results can already be seen. Yes, as fast as a lightning lol. It has a mild scent, a smell like baby bath soaps which doesn't bother me. It provides me a supple glowing skin afterwards. The brush tool gives a massage relaxing effect. It helps in removing excess dirts though i want it bigger. I love how convenient this pump is. One pump provides me enough amount of the solution for my face. For 100ml pump, this would definitely last me forever lol as i only wash my face twice as recommended. But one thing i don't like is that the solution isn't bubbly and foamy even when i already use the brush tool but nevermind because compared to other facial wash, this one did a very nice job in cleansing/ removing my makeup so i forgive them not making this one foamy lol. Plus it dries out pimples, even active pimples immediately. And oh, did i already mention that this facial wash has a pH of 5.5- 6 which is very good for our skin's natural environment. At this level of pH, skin can have enough barrier for bacterias and other organism that can cause us pimples/acne. Unlike to other facial wash of a base solution (pH of above 7) that removes the natural oils in our skin making skin very dry and thus tends to produce more oil which causes pimples.
Now, i want you guys to see how this one really works. I have here on my hands swatches of my mascara, eyeliner, brow pencil, eyeliner pencil and contour makeup with primer and take note, these are all waterproof and sweatproof. I didnt wet my hands with water but instead directly apply and lather the facial wash onto my hands.
Pencils and contour already remove just a few more strokes and...
tadaaa the mascara and eyeliner has been easily wiped out. All in just Ā a few seconds.
Final verdict: Price (8/10)- Ā regular price of 450 pesos is a bit pricey for me. I think they should have this available in trial bottles of 30 or 50ml because for me, testing Ā the products first is important before purchasing a big amount of it in order to save . Performance (10/10)- No doubt, best facial wash so far. Doesn't irritate. Doesn't break me out. Packaging (10/10)- as Ā it provides me 100ml of product with a bonus brush tool. Purchase again? - Definitely.
