To stupid to read

a 19 y/o german artist who is obbsesed with Skulduggery Pleasant, Warriors, Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter and more

I ordered Skulduggery Pleasant Dark Days, Mortal Coil and Deathbringer for my slovac friend in English since only the first 3 books are translated into her language. The package arrived and she will pick it up from the post office tomorrow.

She knows I got her one book and is already mad about it, since she doesn’t like me spending money on her. Let’s see what happens once she opens the package and finds three books instead of one. She will probably come all the way to Germany just to punch me in the face for it.

You know what's the only good thing about having dyslexia for me?

I need a lot longer to read a book or story, which means I have far more time to actually enjoy the character and storylines

I literally never start book series with the first book and I have no idea why

Warrior cat? Yeah starting with a dangerous path of the original series

Harry Potter? harry potter and the chamber of secrets

Skulduggery Pleasant? Playing with fire

Artemis Fowl? The Eternity Code

The underland Chronicles? the Curse of the Warmbloods

In my defense: I used to just pick up interesting looking books in the local library and since they place identification stickers on the side of the book were normally the numbers are, I wasn’t able to tell ^^“

In addition to this, I think I should also point out:

I'm never reading the last book either

For both Artemis Fowl and the underland chronicals, I started the last book but just.. gave up at some point in the beginning off the books

I only finished his Harry Potter because my mom made me do it

And Skulduggery Pleasant... Well, let's just say, I was only able to force myself to finish the dying of the light because I know phase two is a thing. Not really a good thing, bit a thing.

As for warrior cats... Yeah, we are at book 64 rn and I don't think it will end anytime soon. Pretty sure it will outlive me.

Current mood: crying over the death of a gigantic fictional bat, who is a minor character and wasn't even in half a book. But god damnit, you can't just let the bat being skeletonized by mites!

I decided to change this blog into a general fantasy novel blog instead of it strictly being Skulduggery Pleasant stuff :D

Main reason for this might or might not be my current obsession with Artemis Fowl and I just thought this might be fun overall :D

I'm also always looking for new books to read, so if anyone has suggestions what to read, throw it my way!!!

I'm working in this silly little SP crossover au Comic and currently I'm working on getting all the designs down.

So I showed a friend the designs I've done for Mev, Baron and Nef and they just decided Nef is thier husband now. They haven't read the books or anything, they don't know who he is or what he does, they just saw the design and now he is thier husband according to them.

I feel like there is a joke here somewhere, but I can't tell where

I just want to point out, that when tanith got possessed by the remnant all the way back in Moral coil, I literally quit reading the skulduggery pleasant books for legitimately 5 years until last winter. This is what I do when I have favorite characters

I haven't read midnight yet, but from the little I heared (I try to stay away from spoilers as much as possible) I feel like shit will go down and there might be another 5+ years rage quit to come...
