Me in 2020: No, testosterone doesn’t make you gay. I’m almost only attracted to women and that will always stay the same.
Me by the end of 2023: Well, seems like I lied to myself about that.

Worth a shot, right?
I need y’all to know that the lavender haze music video was amazing and Taylor’s love interest is played again by Laith Ashley who is trans man. And I cannot tell y’all how much it means to me to see a trans guy in something like this, and not just for 0.5s but be an important part of it too. When he’s laying on his back you can even see his top surgery scars and that’s just. Incredible. Also much like the last MV, it’s just so nice to see a trans person be shown as someone loved and desired when we’re all constantly made to feel the opposite. And I just think it’s even more significant coming from someone as influential as Taylor. Also I have to say my favorite thing about it is that it wasn’t made into a big deal, the fact that he’s trans wasn’t broadcasted anywhere. He’s just a guy.
I feel hot so I’m making it everyone’s problem.
Post T shirtless selfies coz I’m feeling buff like look at those shoulders!!! Look at those traps!!!! Heck!!!
taylor having a trans man as a love interest in an upcoming music video is so amazing and important
…is this real?
wow. I'm going to cry, lol. it might seem insignificant because it's just a music video, but in a time where a lot of politicians are vilifying us for basically just existing, something like this helps humanize us, I think. it's especially nice that a trans person isn't just there in the video, but he's someone depicted as being loved and desired by her.
Yes yes yes yes!!!! This made me so unbelievably happy you have no idea.
I saw it on Instagram coz gay times posted about it and the comments were so annoying coz most were just like “well we shouldn’t pat her on the back for doing the bare minimum” and you know what? Fuck that. I will pat her on the back for it. And I will pat every big celebrity who include people like me.
Not to mention, Taylor didn’t make a big deal out of it. He wasn’t there as the trans person in the music video. He wasn’t there for woke points. He didn’t blend into the background. For so many trans people we are seen as the other, not men not women but just others and in big mainstream places we get sidelined like that. And so to have Taylor Swift’s love interest on Taylor Swift’s music video be a transgender guy??? That’s huge.
This is such a big deal. This is so fucking significant. Because so so so few times are trans men seen as an object of desire or lust. We always fall short of “”real”” men and we’re always just not quite “manly” enough for cis women. So this. This is incredible. And more people need to be talking about it.
trans unity
seriously, don't use duct tape for that.

Welcome to the funniest set of memes I’ve ever seen thank you
trans men are allowed to like their cleavage. trans women are allowed to like their bulge. no one has the right to tell someone they have to hate a part of their body to be trans
Important - testosterone recall info
[ID: A tweet that reads "For my trans friends on testosterone, go check your lot number, there's been a recall due to bacterial contamination." The tweet includes a link to the news source detailing the recall and a screenshot from that source. The link to the news article is:
End ID]
Update: It looks like there may be some additional related recalls. You can check the FDA website. I just searched for Sun as the manufacturer with a timeframe of the last two months.
Does anyone know the name of that list on reddit where they have it by state doctors that will perform hysterectomies without issues?

Hello my guys, especially my American guy, now is a good time to remind you all who are on hrt that testosterone is not a contraceptive. It won’t prevent you from getting pregnant and so please take precautions if you have a uterus.
Please check the post I reblogged before this one for information on contraceptive pills as it might will get increasingly harder to get an abortion.
Plan B is shelf stable for up to 4 years. Afterpill is shelf stable for about 18 months.
Plan B is currently available over the counter, and you can find coupons for it online for various retailers; some of those coupons require a prescription so check the coupon details carefully. Both of these medications can be ordered online.
Plan B and Afterpill in the 1.5mg tablets are less effective for people over 176 pounds, however it is safe to double the dose, so if you are heavier order two doses. Ella is also effective for heavier people, but requires a prescription.
Emergency contraception is effective for a short period after sex. You need to take Plan B or Afterpill within 72 hours of unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.
IUDs and birth control implants are effective long-term birth control that does not require your partner to participate in using the birth control or even be aware of it. IUDs are 99% effective and are effective for 3-12 years depending on type. Planned Parenthood can place an IUD for you, and so can many gynecologist's offices, and IUDs are covered under most health insurance plans. Talk to your doctor or gynecologist about how to get an IUD. Birth control implants are 99% effective and are effective for up to 5 years. Like IUDs, you can talk to your doctor or gynecologist, or visit Planned Parenthood, to get an IUD.
The birth control methods listed here are not effective for preventing STIs, they are for pregnancy prevention only.
If you can become pregnant but do not want to be pregnant, now is a good time to consider a long-term birth control option like an IUD or a birth control implant, and to purchase emergency contraception like Plan B or Afterpill to have it onhand in an emergency.
Also! If you don’t wish to have kids in the future (whether to remain childless or if you have kids and are done having them), I highly recommend the bilateral salpingectomy procedure, aka, getting your reproductive tubes removed. It is an extremely effective minor surgery with the most effective rate of pregnancy prevention possible (even more effective than vasectomies). It is usually done laparoscopically, the recovery is quick and pretty painless, and it does not affect your hormones at all. I had this procedure done in December 2020 and I am so glad I did. No regrets.
Speaking of vasectomies: that is also a great birth control method, a very minor procedure with minimal recovery, and it is technically reversible if you decide you want to have kids again one day.
Hey hey hey
✨Fuck terfs and fuck jkr✨
Trans women are women, trans men are men, non-binary people are non-binary.
A woman is suing employees of a Florida jail after they allegedly forced her to spend nearly 10 hours in a cell surrounded by 40 men because they suspected she was transgender, the Miami Herald reported.
If this had been a trans woman no one would have cared. It wouldn’t even have made the news. But since it did, I’d just like to say that prisons are dens of sexual violence and freedom demands their abolition
More proof that the struggles if cis women and trans women will always be intertwined and notions of “passing” will always be used as a way to punish and control all women.
Remember that video of a cisgender lesbian who got harassed and ejected from a bathroom by male cops a couple years back while her friends pleaded for the cops to leave her alone because she was a cisgender woman? Because I remember.
The anti-trans push WILL hurt the cis women you claim to be trying to “protect” as your excuse. You’re not protecting them or anyone else. Literally all you do is put everyone at risk instead. Stop pretending that ‘protecting’ people is your goal, we all know it isn’t, and shit like this will happen more frequently and get worse as the push gets stronger.
Just admit you don’t give a shit about any women, you just like hurting trans people and go.
What’s especially weird about this is for cis women going through menopause, and for cis women who have had their uterus removed, it’s pretty normal to be taking hormone replacement therapy. And them detecting that she was on HRT is a large reason why they sent her to a male prison, despite that being like, not that strange of a thing to be finding in an older cis woman.
TERF ideology is intertwined tightly with the enforcement of white, western standards of femininity onto women around the world, and exists to punish those who don’t fall in line under the pretext of “protecting” white femininity. it’s not radical feminism, it’s reactionary fascism.
