I am literally a bearded vulture. I use avian vivterms, but I don't really mind being called a person, however I prefer being called a bird. I am permanently shifted and as such I often display birdlike mannerisms. I am typing this with my talons right now.

I use the term transspecies because I am also transsex and my dysphoria has an overlap with both identities, and it makes me easier to understand from a human perspective. Yes, that means I do experience both gender and species dysphoria. It hurts a lot and I do post about it so be warned if you find that triggering. Most vent posts will be over at @gypaetus-barbatus-californiensis

I know that therianthropy isn't limited to gear and such but I do love it. It makes me more comfortable in my skin.

I often post art here. It's mostly self portraits because that helps to ease the dysphoria too, but I also draw other things. Like birds. Lots of birds.

Very, very anti-endo, anti-radqueer, anti-transID and anything adjacent to those. I have my stances, but I don't participate in discourse. No random DMs.

!! I'm coining this term because I've never seen anyone use it before. It may already exist and I just don't know it, therefore if it does, consider this an alternative definition and flag for said term. !!

Palaeoholothere definition: a being who/that identifies as an extinct nonhuman animal on all levels. This is a sublabel of the wider term holothere.

Flag meaning: the hoist pile with anchor delta, pointed left to right, with the dark gray stripes, represents the passage of time. The colored stripes represent different ancient layers and types of rock that make up Earth's crust where one may find fossilized remains.

This flag's design is based on an old flag I used when I thought I was just a bearded vulture. I was incorrect. Again, if this term already exists, consider this coining and flag an alternative or add-on to it.

Yep. I'm a Balaur bondoc. But like. Bearded vulture is sprinkled on top. This feels weird but great, having finally seemed to have figured myself out. I might need to redesign my sona though... that sucks. ;-;
