These people...they thought as soon as they got all their powers back they just had to make a nuisance of themselves, didn’t they? Edna, on the other hand, was much more well behaved. She had unlocked divine powers of earth, she had taken down the Lord of Calamity himself, but did she cause the whole city to panic? Nooooo. Idiots.
She had business in this Sector, for Maotelus’s sake! That business being another cooking lesson or...just...whatever it was friends did at Flora’s place. Edna’s seriously regretting not saying they should do it at her house, but she’s the one with a car after all.
Speaking of which, if anything happens to her car, she will make this idiot regret it.
She knocks on Flora’s door, because that’s the polite thing to do. But after no response for two minutes...Edna’s beginning to get worried.
Did something happen? She swears to Maotelus if anyone dared harm a single hair on Flora’s head the next thing they’d be seeing was the pit in the middle of the city.
Was she out? Or--Maybe Edna should just check Flora’s house first. It’s not exactly the polite thing to do, but she knows how to pick locks, and some concern deep in her is making her unable to just walk away.
The house is...seemingly empty, and Edna notes that every door has been closed and all the blinds have been drawn. Maybe Flora was home...Or at least...someone... She shuts the front door behind her (because she’s not entirely rude), and begins walking slowly through the house.
“Flora?” she calls out. “Are you here?”
She walks slowly through the house, carefully opening each door and searching the rooms for any sign of...anyone. She had just about given up hope of finding her friend when she heard...crying? From under Flora’s bed.
Edna immediately drops to the floor, looking under the bed to find Flora looking absolutely petrified.
“Flora, it’s Edna...I’m here. It’s okay.”
