Rhum Clement VSOP Agricole Rum, Ron Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Strong Hibiscus tea, Homemade Vanilla syrup, Lime, Red ChilliCocktail Created at the Blue Bar, Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi in 2014 by Joel Scholtens LindsayThe Base of this Cocktail Rhum Clement VSOP Agricole Rum which is a stunning Rum from Martiniquais a French Caribbean Island. Agricole Rum is Rums made in French Islands of the Caribbean from Sugar Cane Juice, and they usually are made with the same attention to detail as Liquor from France, so you should expect an exceptional Quality. Rhum Clement VSOP doesn't Disappoint it is a stylish Rum. Rhum Clement is aged for a minimum of 4 years in both Brand New Limousine Oak and Ex-Bourbon Barrels.
On the nose, Rhum Clement VSOP gives Aromas of Caramel, Spice, and dried fruit. On The Palate Rhum Clement VSOP gives Flavour of coconut, Banana, Creme Brulee, Nuts, and dried fruit, it is very Dry for a Rum with a lot of influence from the Oak.Rhum Clement VSOP Finishes with Charred Oak, sugarcane, coconut, Creamy Custard, Pepper, Spices and Damp Oak.I Originally add Hibiscus Tea to Rhum Clement VSOP which is Delightful tea I regularly have at Home, It's Sour and Floral in FlavourI made a robust brew as I wanted the Hibiscus flavour to stand up to the Rum.After trying the Combination of Rhum Clement VSOP and Hibiscus Tea, I decided to add Homemade Vanilla Syrup which paired Beautifully with the Hibiscus Tea a couple of lime Squeezes later, and I had a delicious cocktail. That's when I did something I would never normally do, Rhum Clement VSOP is a stunning Rum. Still, I wanted a slightly Richer Rum flavour, so I added 15mls of my Favourite Rum Ron Zacapa 23 Solera Rum and the result was absolutely Magnificent. The Ron Zacapa added the extra Richness I was looking for and paired Beautifully with Rhum Clement VSOP like they had been dating for years.
