Momma to 3 Babes. Before anything else, i was a poet. Divination & Kitchen-Magic are my specialties, though I am especially drawn to the sea. Getting lost in a book is the closest i get to getting lost these days. I put my heart into baking and cooking for my family and keeping a clean, cozy home. There's never a time i don't have a pot of tea brewing. I collect crystals/gems, books, tarot decks, candles, essential oils, teas, and other witchy things. I'm starting to dip my toes in reading tarot for others as it has been something I've only done for myself over the last couple of years. I am a 30. Married. Taurus-Sun. Gemini-Moon. Aquarius-Rising. Aries-Venus. Aries-Mercury. Cancer-Mars. Northern California born and bred, though I would love to move further North.

I tend to spend most of my time constantly narrating the story of my life to myself. What I've done in the past, what I should have done, what I will do in the future. And this time-traveler brain doesn't seem to have any space for the present moment. Suddenly, paying attention to anything other than the monologue happening in my mind feels almost impossible.

If you ever felt like that, you know what I'm talking about.

I wrote this poem to remind us to let go of our story, if only for a moment, and simply be.

Maybe then, life won't feel like drowning anymore. And we'll finally be able to float.

I haven’t been nearly as present as I want to be on this blog... But I'm going to make an effort to change that. When I started this blog I was pregnant with my almost 3 year old, & I wanted to start over with a new concept, & i just kind of stopped using tumblr and honestly as someone that spent every day on tumblr from like 14-23yrs old it was shameful. HAHA 

I’m pregnant with my 3rd child and have a lot of craziness going on in my life i would like to use this page to vent about and post things that make me feel better like i used to so here goes
