Assignments from this semester of school. The two series were for independent study classes. One focusing on depression, loss, and anxiety. And the other focusing on mythos. Featuring Lamia, The Jersey Devil, and a Kelpie. There are more pieces in each series, but the photos didn't come out right.

Janos White Janos was born albino with weak eyesight. His mother, thinking he was something grander than her worth, anonymously gave her son up to the citadel. The men there raised him and taught him letters, math, and alchemy. He is quiet and keeps his head down when not being spoken to. He likes to experiment with alchemy, mostly using rats he’s caught. He has been reading into witchcraft and is starting to mix his alchemy with the magic he’s learning. This tends to make people weary of him and Janos uses this to his advantage; sometimes tricking people into being part of an experiment. He also likes to experiment with other’s psyche, often doing unexpected things to study the reaction of his subject.  He has dabbled in other human experiments but it was put to and end when the older alchemist found out about it. Janos is sickly, but he has a strong mind.

Everett The Small

Born to an elf mother and orc father. His mother died in childbirth and his father looked after him within an orc stronghold. His father told him about his mother and would remark that he looked like her in certain light. Everett never grew as tall or as harsh as the other orc children due to his elven blood, obviously this lead to him being at the end of all the jests and antics.  He was given the nickname “The Small”. He aspired to become a warrior and fight for the stronghold.  He joined the ranks and began training. He uses a spear to get more reach with his arm and for its lightweight. He learned he would never be able to overpower an orc opponent and to reply more on his speed than strength. Everett is a capable warrior. He is stronger than an average man and elf, but weaker than the weakest orc. When he was finished with his training the elders told him they had no use of his services. With nothing left for him within the stronghold, and with his father’s blessing, Everett left to travel.  He seeks the elves with his mother’s name to learn more of her and her culture. Everett has a mild disposition, but with a habit of bravado. This often gets him in stupid situations that reveal his father’s temper in him. He has a strong sense of pride, and was taught to uphold the warrior’s code during training. He enjoys woodcarving and sparring in his spare time. ——————- Blind OTP challenge with Vero
