do you ever get mad at yourself because youre not even good at the things you thought you were good at
Depression is funny. It brings out the pathetic side of any human being. You think less of yourself(more so than usual) and you keep thinking about the negatives about every single damn thing that exists in this world. You draw negative conclusions about yourself and everything that links to your existence. You constantly ask why.. Why.. Why.. And somehow you can never get a “good” answer to all those why’s. You’re in a constant debate of whether or not you’re sad, frustrated, anxious maybe even happy. Cause you don’t even know what you’re actually feeling. This on its own is sad. And if you’re like me you just keep this shit in you. On the outside you can act like nothing is wrong and everything is fine, yet you know yourself you’ve probably died about 10 million times in the inside per day. An empty and sad facade.
I wanna feel excited about something again.

im literally so terrified of someone being a part of my life for a long time bc i know it’s gonna hurt like a bitch when they leave
A few years ago I begged my mom to bring me to the hospital. She didn't understand why, so that was the last time I ever brought it up. Ever since then I felt I've been, for lack of a better word, revived. A while ago I had someone essentially rescue me from who I thought I was, and we've been together ever since. But as I lay the very rare nights alone, I begin to wonder if I ever really did recover or if i used my love to cover it up. On the outside, I am the person I want to be. But for several years I've been fighting trying to find what is missing on the inside and now I'm not so sure I'll ever be able to find out.
Did it ever really stop?
Everything seems to be exhausting me, no matter how much sleep or how much coffee I drink or how long I lie down, something inside me seems to have given up. My soul is tired.
