I keep forgetting to post this but I finally remembered to do it now!
This piece was for the @easterneuropehetazine! It was an honour to be able to participate with so many great artists and writers. The zine is absolutely stunning with over 90 pages full of content and it was all for a great cause! This piece is only a preview, meaning if you want to see the rest, please consider picking up a copy! The zine is currently under a special price at $3 and the funds go to the Russian LGBT Network. But don’t wait too long! The special price is set to end on September 6 and after that, the price will return to $15.
Enjoy!
I: Esmaspäev / Monday
For as long as Estonia could remember, Lake Ülemiste was always there. The town had grew around it and he recalled the days of people traveling for hours to reach it, himself included. It was the source of life for everyone and it still remained as such as it served its purpose as the source of drinking water for the city’s folks.
But the lake is not without its secrets. All of the locals know this as fact, and so does Estonia.
The lake has come with many stories over his long life. But only two have stood the test of time. He had grown up to the story of the lake’s creation; the source of life for them was a product of Linda’s sadness who mourned the loss of her husband for seven days and seven nights. He swore during his travels to the lake, he has heard the sounds of a woman weeping in the distance but not a soul could be found.
He tried not to read too much into it. He had never seen the likes of Linda, Kalev (the man she cried over), or the mighty Kalevipoeg—their son and hero of their folklore tales. It was, after all, just a myth.
Everyone! After a long period of time the Eastern Europe and Centric Europe Hetalia fanzine I joined have finally opened for sale. For people purchase it before September 6th, there is gonna be a special price so don’t miss out.
Purchase the digital zine directly from here: https://gumroad.com/l/LBUBq
But you might want to check out the information of the zine before you have any question, please view here:

Anyway, thank you so much for the support. As of my own, I’m deeply honored to be part of the project and have my arts put alongside with many talented artists and writers. I’m really gratitude for this opportunity.
A preview of (one of) my contribution(s) for the Eastern Europe zine! @easterneuropehetazine
I am immensely proud of how this came out! I’ve been so so eager to show this off! I think I can easily say this might be the best thing I’ve ever drawn? All the embroidery, flowers, etc. were quite some work, but I think it really paid off! (I might post a small step by step gif later too!)
The whole zine came out gorgeous, major props to all the organization and all the participants who helped it come together! (Keep an eye out for one of the stories by @kanadka ! I added little illustrations to the one about Ro ♥ ! )
So if you wanted to see the full piece in all it’s glory, in addition to over 90 pages of art and fic then, well, if you haven’t done so yet, please consider picking it up! It’s name-your-price, starting at 3$, and all proceeds will be donated to The Russian LGBT Network!
(And if you can’t afford it now, consider spreading the word ♥)
