People are always complaining about how new horses have the same animations but really? Most horses in real life have very similar gaits, even if there might be some slight differences. Warmbloods look similar and they move in similar ways, and it takes a trained eye to spot the differences, unless it’s a very special kind of breed like a friesian or something. What I’m mores concerned of and which bothers me way more than the animations, is the texture and colours of the newer horses. I don’t understand how not more people have noticed that they’re all very plain with few or no markings, and the fur looks really plastic and uneven. If there were more differences in the looks of the horses it might be easier to tell them apart, even if the gaits are similar.
