Just so you know, I hate you very much so because even though you're technically my step-father you basically barely did anything for me. You fucking protect your own children, like Ashen, but when it comes to me you do nothing?

Haan…. I try to protect you as much as possible. I’m sorry that it seems that way. It’s hard to juggle around 5 kids, and an overly manipulative husband.
I don’t want you to hate me, nor do I want you to be hurt by Seth. Please come to me about anything Seth does. Every now and then I do pour one of his experiments into his coffee… usually because he fucked up on caring for our children.
Anyways. I understand that you’re jealous of them. Seth barely cares for you, and hurts you I know. I don’t want you to be hurt, but I also watch from the sidelines. You’re an adult, and I want you to be able to handle things on your own.
But let me tell you this. I am on your side. I do chastise Seth whenever he does something shitty to you. He may no respond well to it, I can tell, but I try, and I have been.
Sure I'm a damn adult, but if you were in my shoes you'd realize just how difficult it is for me to deal with everything on my own. Especially when I'm usually left weak or drugged most of the time, and if I tried to go against father while he was doing something he'd just go rougher on me. Trust me, I know and have tried.
Watching from the sidelines to me is you doing absolutely nothing, because ehen Seth leaves me you usually only leave to him, but never really try to go to me and do shit like at least comfort me. Which for your information, I would do anything for to be at least held by someone after I just experienced the most agonizing pain and torture known to man kind.
You think I go to him to comfort? No. Sure as hell not. He needs to earn the right to get my love. I go to chastise him. I yell at him, ask why the hell he did that. Yeah he usually laughs it off, but I persist.
