Ecclesian Night (Closed)
Albus looked to the page and gritted his teeth. Knowing that Shanoa had made this for him filled him with even more hatred for the scum that they had to share this school with. Swallowing it down, he tried his best to get rid of the anger, and see in colors again other than red. He glanced down to the picture and admired it. Despite the destruction that has come to it, it was still a nice piece. Shanoa had talent in many things he did not, and it showed.
His head turned to scan her, “You like how I look when I write?” he asked. “How do I look exactly? Do I have a different face? A stupid one?” He joked, not even realizing that he had a certain appearance when he would write in his journal.
Shanoa chuckled and shook her head, raven black hair spilling over her shoulders due to her movements. “Not at all. You look thoughtful but peaceful too. I really like it. So, I watched you a few times, just so I could draw this.” She giggled a little, the sound almost odd coming from her but Albus made her feel safe and she always let her guard down around him.
"I promise to make you a new one but I still hope you like the surprise." The other drawings that were ruined were just for fun and practice so it was no real loss but this one had bothered her greatly. It was what had provoked the boys to bully her, seeing that she had a picture of him. That information she kept to herself however.
"So, what were you writing about?"
Albus leaned back on the bench and looked toward the night sky. "Just my thoughts, what's been happening today. And now, thanks to those morons, I'll have a lot more to write about." He sighed and set down the leather bound journal and the pen he had been writing with. Albus was pretty easy to please, honestly. A bit of quiet time for reading and writing, and a bit of time of Shanoa, and he was happy. However, being a part of this place didn't often allow for peaceful times. Despite Shanoa's ethusiasm with the Ecclesia, often times, Albus couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right about this place. The other students were awful, the professors weren't the most friendly, and he had a real distaste for the Headmaster Barlowe. If he told this to Shanoa or anyone though, they would just think he's crazy, or maybe just having a bad day.
