âSometimes a sure thing is not the best thing.â
â George FeenyÂ
âi believe that when you find love, you hold on to it, and cherish it. because there is nothing finer, and it may never come again. and that, my dears, is the most important thing.â
â Mr Feeny, Boy Meets World
âUnderstanding and condoning are two entirely separate conceptsâ

âThe Genius Of The Crowd
there is enough treachery, hatred violence absurdity in the average
human being to supply any given army on any given day
and the best at murder are those who preach against it
and the best at hate are those who preach love
and the best at war finally are those who preach peace
those who preach god, need god
those who preach peace do not have peace
those who preach peace do not have love
beware the preachers
beware the knowers
beware those who are always reading books
beware those who either detest poverty
or are proud of it
beware those quick to praise
for they need praise in return
beware those who are quick to censor
they are afraid of what they do not know
beware those who seek constant crowds for
they are nothing alone
beware the average man the average woman
beware their love, their love is average
seeks average
but there is genius in their hatred
there is enough genius in their hatred to kill you
to kill anybody
not wanting solitude
not understanding solitude
they will attempt to destroy anything
that differs from their own
not being able to create art
they will not understand art
they will consider their failure as creators
only as a failure of the world
not being able to love fully
they will believe your love incomplete
and then they will hate you
and their hatred will be perfect
like a shining diamond
like a knife
like a mountain
like a tiger
like hemlock
their finest artâ
â Charles Bukowski
Be careful how people present themselves to be. Be aware - beware.
Ralph Walden Emerson said something along the lines of, "Who you are speaks so loudly I canât hear what youâre saying.â
I tend to grow weary of people who pronounce who they are all the time. It's suffocating. I can see through most of it, and it's disturbing.

âWhat man can you show me who places any value on his time, who reckons the worth of each day, who understands that he is dying daily?â - Seneca, Moral Letters to Lucilius
âI want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you canât see from the center.â
â Kurt Vonnegut, Player Piano
From Rosie Huntington-Whiteleyâs Instagram story, August 7, 2018
âWords that come from the heart are always simple.â - Albert Camus, The Misunderstanding
âI wish there was a way to know youâre in the good old days before youâve actually left themâ - Andy, The Office
âThe purpose of a fish trap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught the trap is forgotten. The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten. The purpose of the word is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words? He is the one I would like to talk to.â
â Chuang Tzu (via davejwatson)
âItâs a mystery of human chemistry and I donât understand it, some people, as far as their senses are concerned, just feel like home.â
â Nick Hornby, High Fidelity
Greatness is determined by service
âYou get a strange feeling when youâre about to leave a place. Like youâll not only miss the people you love but youâll miss the person you are now at this time and this place because youâll never be this way ever again.â
â Azar Nafisi
