Mission Workshop out in SF messed with the wrong customer.  Casey Neistat is a YouTube vlogger that has over 1MM subscribers.  He’s also the co-founder of the social video sharing app Beme. Â
In his recent vlog post, Casey visited the store to have them to address an issue with a $200 pair of pants he bought from them that was coming undone after minimal wear. Â The stores response? Â Not good.
Casey’s right, a company needs to stand by their products.  You would expect better customer service from a company that is trying to position themselves as a high end boutique.  The thing I liked about Casey is that he could’ve totally spent the video ripping on them, but he didn’t.

Kids Today...
My sister just told me about a recent conversation she had with my niece:
Sister: When I get a new phone you can have it. (Waving her iPhone 5 at my niece.)
Niece (6th Grader): Eh, that's okay, I don't want it.
Sister: Then what do you want?
Niece: 6S.
Sister: You can either have this or a phone like the one grandma has! (Note: Grandma has a flip phone)
Nephew (3rd Grader): Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! If she doesn't want the phone, can I have it?
It’s getting wild out there. The coyotes shown in photos and videos in local news are the young ones. My neighbors and I have seen the fully grown adults that are the size of golden retrievers. Be careful. Keep your pets and small children safe.

MEETUP: Louis’ to Labyrinth
We will be exploring the Coastal Trail during this meetup. We will start from the famous Louis’ restaurant and will head toward Point Lobos where we will run up the steps at the Sutro Baths Upper Trail, which will eventually merge into the Coastal Trail. From there we will head to the Eagle Point Labyrinth and then run all the way back to Louis’ along El Camino Del Mar.  We will head toward Point Lobos again, but this time we will stop when we reach Sutro Baths and then climb up the treacherous stairways to the finish line at the Lands End Lookout. This will be our longest run to date at 2.7 miles. The trail includes 4 stairways, 2 of which are close to 200 steps.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE This will be a very tough run.  For those who want to take it a little easier, you can skip the Labyrinth (D and E on the map); instead, you make the Eastern Coastal Trail Overlook © your return point.  We can all reunite at the Lands End Lookout.
IMPORTANT NOTE Part of this trail can be quite dangerous, especially at the Labyrinth. All children should be accompanied by parents. If it looks like it can possibly be a cliff, it is a cliff. Don’t hesitate to skip this portion of the trail if you feel it may be too risky.Â

MEETUP: Batteries to Bluffs Trail
The Batteries to Bluffs Trail may be one of the most scenic trails in the City. Not too long ago, they’ve updated the steps along the trail. And where there are steps…well, you know the drill. Running these steps may pose to be a little dangerous due to its narrowness, quick turns, and jagged rocks along the sides. We may also be distracted by the amazing views of the shoreline along the Sea Cliff neighborhood and the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, which will surely slow us down. So instead of running, which is still an option, we will be hiking this trail. WHEN Saturday, August 8 at 9:30am
WHERE TO MEET Set your navigation for Battery Godfrey and it should lead you down Lincoln Blvd. to Langdon Ct. We will meet in the small parking area on Landon Ct. PARKING Small parking area in Langdon Ct. Very limited. START TIME 9:30am or when most attendees have arrived. Those who are walking can start earlier.
